Almost Done!

The last of the production photos from Tammy came yesterday so I thought I would share them with you. Starting to get REALLY excited about getting the trailer but unfortunately the current weather in the PNW has prevented me from getting to Chilliwack. I was supposed to be there Monday for delivery but was wise enough to stay home. I am looking at all options including partial delivery so hopefully I will have the trailer soon. We added several options and (personal) additions. Not shown in the photos are the solar panel and front storage box.

Steve

PS-one other item not in view is the new 19 gallon black tank they are offering.

Re: Almost Done!

That green looks so beautiful, Steve! And the oven is impressive. I have decided to make do with my little portable so-called oven so I will envy you your oven!

You certainly made the right decision to stay home because the weather up there this weekend is awful. Hope you can get your Escape in not too long.

It's really something to see an Escape when it is almost finished and is brand spanking new. They make a beautiful trailer all right. Can't get too many photos of that!

Re: Almost Done!

Cathy-since the oven was offered we felt it would be a good idea to get it. Losing a little storage is the trade off.

Alf-no doubt I was very disappointed in not being able to go up. The weather looks to be breaking a bit late this week, early next week so I may try again. There is also a delivery later in February to So. Cal. that I may tag onto if the weather does not allow me to go.

Anxiously waiting!!!

Steve

PS-also notice in the last photo the "reading" light above the bed. I had 2 of these installed instead of the standard one included.

Re: Almost Done!

Looking good, Steve. I still remember getting excited about picking mine up.

Is there an option for the grey tank to be up-sized? That is the one that nearly fills on us the odd time, not the black.

Re: Almost Done!

Jim
As far as I know the grey tank has not been upsized. The new, larger black tank is just now beginning to be used or offered. The main drawback to this newer tank is that it takes up almost all of the extra space under the dinette seat on the driver side.

Re: Almost Done!

Hi: sjnuss... Did they move the black tank from directly under the toilet Alf

Re: Almost Done!

It is my understanding that is goes from under the toilet into the space under the front dinette seat. Haven't seen any photos of the setup yet.

Re: Almost Done!

That is right, Steve. The existing one already goes under the dinette seat a bit.

That is where my BBQ gets stored, which wouldn't work with the larger tank.

Which brings to question, how many folks out there have found the existing black tank to be too small?

It's always too small when you have to empty it. I've had to hitch up a couple of times just to dump. Wasn't really that big a deal, except I had to drive a half hour into Merritt to dump at Canadian Tire ( free ). Of course, I did pick up some more beer.

Re: Almost Done!

In our Casita we came close a few times to filling the black tank. Seemed to be able to get close to a week before having to hit the dump station.

Re: Almost Done!

Looking good, Steve. I hope you have a safe pick up be it in Chilliwack or Southern CA although I'm hoping the weather enables Chilliwack to work out for you b/c getting to tour the factory as well as meet Reace, Tammy & the rest of the Escape crew is a great experience. Regardless, I'm sure it'll be great to finally get in your new trailer & start using it. See you back in TX.

Re: Almost Done!

Hi Jackie,
Yes we will be at BB. Looks like I will have to wait a few more weeks to get it. I was supposed to be there today for pickup but last weeks winter storm prevented that. So I will be "tagging" on with a delivery going to So. Cal. next month. By the way, really like your new enclosure.
