Boondocking above Bishop, CA

Stuck at home in the snow in Tahoe looking at some old photos and I came across this one from last year. This was a great completely private boondocking spot about 8-miles up a dirt road west of Bishop. We camped in 3 different spots in the Eastern Sierra on that trip and never stayed in a campground.

Looks like The Buttermilks behind you; a popular rock climbing area. Doubt you could get 8 miles up right now with the snowpack.
