Distortion in 19' Escape trailer photo

I gather there is concern over what one viewer described as the "wall" in the picture of the 19' Escape interior.

In order to get as much as I could into one picture, I used a very wide-angle lens and I wouldn't call it distortion, but it does emphasize objects in the foreground, making those appear larger relative to the background objects. And, it doesn't help that the trailer was inside a large building preventing light from entering and views out.

When I first looked at the floor plan I was concerned that it might feel closed in, but having been inside the trailer, I don't feel that at all. And my buddy who had been somewhat concerned has confirmed his order for the 19 after touring the trailer.

It's good to hear from someone who's actually been inside the 19er and says it doesn't feel cramped. I want to also say thanks for the photos because they answered a lot of questions I had. My only question was that "wall" on the bathroom. That Nikon 14-24 lens is one hunk of glass! Thanks again for taking the photos for us.

That bathroom wall, next to the door, is a good place for a full length mirror. It would be handy after a shower and would bring light and space inside. I've thought of doing that with my 17B, but I still can't bring myself to drill holes.

I don't need a mirror, but the prettier half might. The 24' stick trailer we have now has 4 mirrors in it, way too many. I really don't like looking at myself all the time, it is kinda scary.

The only place at all in the 19 that might feel a little tight is the streetside dinette seat, but otherwise it feels quite open.

Yup. It did occur to me that opening the door to the trailer and being confronted by an ugly bugger with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other might be unsettling.

Hi: gbaglo... I installed a mirror in "Our Escape Hatch" on the bathroom door with strips of "No More Nails" and it's still there. I got an oak look mirror @ Zellers and the N.M.N.'s @ Home Building Center. (Help is close to Home) Also got some magnetic spice tins and a flip top garbage pail that fits in the cupboard under the furnace @ Ikea !!!
The mirror adds a dimension of space and light to the interior.
We just brought the 5.0 out of storage today.

Re: Distortion in 19' Escape trailer photo

I'm so sorry for my ignorance, but I really want to see photos of the inside of the 19' Escape, distorted or not. But I'm having problems. Does anyone mind offering a tip for me.

Thanks very much,

Carol
