Egbert is home!

I am so thankful to those who shared their knowledge, voiced their opinions, and posted pics on this forum. It made the decision-making process of buying an Escape so much easier. So, to pay it forward and in lieu of a thousand words, here's Egbert...

Interior pics...

My bed is a "permanent" conversion from the two-person dinette; all I have to do is throw off the pillows and crawl under the cover.

Because this is to be a four-season unit for me and winter nights can be long and dark, AV components and their placement were important to me...

Great job Karen. Have been awaiting to see the outcome from all your well though out planning. Now the real fun starts when you get to camp in your 15 that you were able to have input into ensuing you got what you needed.

Very nice! I really like your choices. It is so helpful to see the 2-person dinette made into your permanent bed. I will have the same bed setup in my 17B that I get to pick up at the end of the month.Thank you for sharing your pictures! Happy trails to you and Egbert

Thank you for all your kind comments!

I'm sorry I won't be going to the rally in BC as I figure it will be just too hot for me. I didn't opt for AC because I figure that I have no business camping anywhere where I would need it.

DVDs will be played through the stereo/DVD player. My television is just a cheap 12V Insignia ($100) from Best Buy.

I am pleased with all the options I had put on Egbert. The two extra windows really open up such a small trailer. And the drop-down extension at the front dinette is handy as a landing just inside the door. If I ever switch the beds around for some reason, it can be dropped to use the dinette as designed.

Karen:

I don't think you need to worry about air conditioning in June in Osoyoos. Check here: Osoyoos - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You will see that the average high temperature for June is about 78 deg F (26 deg C) which I would describe as quite pleasant.

Looks like a nice trailer, have fun. Fabrics and your other choices look good.

I am impressed with the organization of space in the smaller trailers.

Hi Karen,

That is one nice looking trailer. We were really impressed by the 15's when we visited the factory. So well thought out and every space usable.

I have a question about your counter tops. We noticed that no matter the color of the edging material (tan, white, brown or black) the little rubber screw head covers were light brown. Yours appear to be black. Did you supply those or did Tammy supply those?

Thanks. Egbert is a beauty.

Kelly
