Escape 5.0TA build-Colorado
For the past 1-2 weeks we've been getting our build photos but none really showed our one-of-a-kind 5.0 interior customization until today. It's been an exciting process to watch the build progression but this was the day we were really waiting for. To our knowledge what we chose for the interior "look" has never been done. We're calling it the "Transitional Interior"option. We really liked both the Maple and Contemporary looks but just felt like there was too much "white"in the later. When we discovered that they used the maple cabinet doors, drawer faces, and doors for the Contemporary interior and painted them white we requested they just finish them with the natural maple showing. It took some effort to convince them but in the end they really came through. We LOVE the look because it adds just enough "warmth" but still retains the contemporary feel without so much "white". It may not be for everyone, but it is perfect for our "Built for You" 5th wheel.

Because they don't show very well in the build photos the rest of our custom interior options are listed below. After we pick up the trailer on August 13 we'll add more photos to show how this all combines together.
Floor: Havanna Tobacco (Gold)
Counters: Marmara Gray
Fabric: Multiplex Blackbird Crypton

We're flattered coming from such a consummate connoisseur of Escape Trailers!
Copy away. I did warn ETI that I believed the cabinet change request would likely be popular.

Sorry for the delay in posting these pictures. There was a build error made that ETI is working to correct (required remaking some of our custom fabric cushions) so the photos don't include the dining area. However these should give people a fairly clear picture of the "Transitional" interior look and feel. We love it because it tones down the "too much white" look of the Contemporary with the complementary addition of the natural Maple.

Nice!!
I've been debating between the maple and all white interior and this is a perfect combo.

We felt it was the best of both worlds. Not too much white and not too much wood. Rather, a very complimentary relationship.
We also just received our correctly sized dining area cushions so I'll post some pictures with those in place when we get back to where we currently have our trailer (in the mountains above Red Feather Lakes, CO).

We are blessed to have our own "Personal" campsite. No reservations needed. 9000' elevation on the edge of the Arapahoe National Forest in a development known as Crystal Lakes. Panhandle Reservoir is down below us and the Mummy Range are the distant peaks to the south. We call it "Sky Jewel" and it takes us 90 minutes to get there from our home in Loveland, CO. It's truly our "Escape" in our Escape.

Looking forward to seeing your u-shaped dinette with the extended rear bench. Love the mixed interior design. Hmm, we finalize our design in a couple months.

For a while now, I have only seen Boulder Escape and myself with trailers here. I would love to see another 5.0 in the Front Range.
The Mummies are looking good in your pic. The backside was severely burned last year, this looks great. Red Feathers is a great get away!
What a Fall we have had! This has been a great year (even with fires).

Here are the missing pictures of the dinette area. We ordered custom fabric for the cushions which were then made according to our build specs. The problem arose when Escape inexplicably made the rear bench 4" deeper than we ordered. (Apparently this is a customization option which is one of the few we didn't opt in for). ETI owned up to their mistake when we were informed of the problem while driving to Sumas, WA to pick up our 5.0. They made it right by giving us some "unmatched" cushions to use while they reordered our selected fabric and had new cushions made. These were then shipped to us in Colorado. (A big OUCH for ETI because the fabric was $50/yd, remaking all the cushions to properly fit the unrequested deeper seat option, and then the shipping costs on top of that).
To Uncle Tim; Yes, it would be great to have our own little Front Range Rally sometime. There are actually quite a few Escape units in this area from Boulder up to Fort Collins. Perhaps sometime next year we can all pull this off. With as late in the year as it was when we got our 5.0 we've only had one camping trip out of the area. We're already planning for some more extended trips next year in the Spring, Summer, and Fall months.
