First Pictures of Our New 17B
The ever cooperative Tammy sent us our first pictures of our soon to be new 17B. I thought I would post these as you can see the wood supports molded into the fiberglass. Now I am really getting anxious!

Here are today's pictures so any interested folks can see more of the construction process. Ours is getting the double insulation and thermalpane windows.

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
Hi Eric and fellow forum readers;
Thanks for posting your pictures Eric. We are also hatching a 17B in May and Tammy has been sending us photos, which I won't post because so far, they look just like yours! So we share in your excitement with less than a month to go before bringing her home!

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
Finally! The departure date is arriving to start on our long journey to pick up our 17B. We leave tomorrow morning- arrive in Bozeman to visit friends and dropping off the Scamp to its new owner on Friday. Then on Sunday morning, a long day (with no trailer) to Osoyoos BC and then we plan to arrive in Chilliwack Monday morning.

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
Enjoy your journey......as we have been. We picked up our 17B on the 10th of May and are now enjoying our vacation trip home to Prince Edward Island. Currently in Yellowstone...I am writing as Vivian sleeps after a tiring day visiting Old Faithful, etc. I know you will get the white glove treatment from Tammy & Rease....that's the way they are. You will find the Escape superior to Scamp in many ways....not just the quality (no revets) (We sold our 16' Scamp last Fall.) We went through the Crowsnest also and overnighted at BWestern in Osoyoos. Enjoy the moment..and all moments in the future.

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
Picking up on a holiday Monday, huh? About 10 minutes after you pass Hope you'll pass through a flat agricultural area called Laidlaw. You might catch a glimpse of my 17' parked on a roadside there. I will be at a sheep herding trial.

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
We made if across the border! The border guard asked us about any weapons and Mary said that she had a Swiss Army Knife. He said that they weren’t afraid of the Swiss Army - that they had their friends to the South to protect them.
Osoyoos, BC is quite a surprise. I was expecting lots of fishing resorts from the sheer number of hotels, etc in town, but when we rolled in it was full of people - everywhere. Turns out the lake here is reputed to be the warmest lake in Canada. (For you other Badgers - Osoyoos seems to be BC’s water sports equivalent of the Dells.)
But, we found an incredible Indian restaurant right in our hotel - Mary (much more the culinary master than me) says that she thinks it is better than any of the ones in Madison. Tasted great to me is all I know!
Today was our longest drive - about 600 miles, The Scamp is with it new owner in Bozeman, so we could put in a much longer day. When we went across the highest pass near Butte, they had gotten what looked like about 2” of snow last night. Luckily for us it was warm enough by the time we got there. The road was fine and we had an incredibly beautiful drive all the way here. We saw both and Escape 17' and a 5'er in Montana or Idaho along the way.
Tomorrow we get to finally see the Escape - we are really looking forward to seeing it and living in it for the next couple of weeks.
