You are correct on the door opening to the side and not up and the new strain relief on the shower hose.
Your heater vent on the outside is mounted on an access panels which or May 17 build does not have. I think this may have been mentioned before.

Enjoying "the build"
We are currently receiving daily pictures of the building of our Escape 21. It's so exciting to see the progress and how it all comes together. We're so glad we chose to have the grey trim on the outside - looks great!

I really like the grey trim as well, looks awesome,,,haven't decided on trim colour yet, hmmm
Are those stainless steel panels on your fridge? we asked Escape and they said we cannot have them, they're an aftermarket install? How did you get them?

They have not installed the wood panels yet, the aluminum you see is what sits behind the panels.
When I got home picking up my trailer. I took the left over Formica and glued it to the back side of the factory refer panels. Now the fridge door matches the counter tops.

That is the foil insulation on the fridge door before they slide in then wood grain.
Putting a new front on the fridge is reasonably easy.

We haven't officially received any build photos of our 5.0TA yet, it's due to be final on Dec. 28 so still a bit early for that. But I've been following a post about frame alignment on the 5.0TA, http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f9...r-14227-7.html. Reace posted some photos of the latest 5.0TA shell as it was being mounted to the frame to illustrate his point. I noticed a green name tag hanging on the kingpin arm in the first photo and when I zoomed in....that's our trailer! Funny how seeing it take shape is such a big deal, I know everyone goes through this, but after all the anticipation it's really exciting to finally see it come to life!

Looking good!
I was wondering if someone would see their name tag.
Ours was finished a few weeks before the final build/pick up date.
I would think you should start getting pictures next week.

Our Escape 21 is due to be finished on December 13 or 14 and we got our first pics today, so you won't have to wait too long.

Even though its Monday rather than Friday, attached are the latest build photos for our 21. Won't be too long now, amazing progress in just over a week!
I wonder whose is the 5.0TA right next to us?

If only those wooden steps could speak, what a success tale it would be.....

Judy, thanks for your comment. Our official pick up day is supposed to be December 17, but we think it will be ready a few days early and we will head out to Chilliwack to pick it up as soon as we can so we can begin to add a few things before heading south sometime towards the end of January. Thanks for showing us your trailer, it was most helpful in our decision making.
Next time you are on the North Shore, let us know and we would be happy to show your our trailer.
Chris

Not much to show yet, but we are excited - our build has begun! We'll be eagerly watching for progress pics the next few weeks as it takes shape - not due until the end of December but will be completed early, I think, if it's starting down the production line now. I'm reminded of the infamous YouTube video of the Jayco factory where their marketing guy is bragging about how they completely build a trailer in 7 hours....this is definitely not that!

David, we are enjoying the daily photos we are getting of our build, what is amazing is the speed they are coming along, although fortunately, not as fast as the Jayco video. We find ourselves clock watching somewhat waiting for the email to arrive with the latest batch of photos. Enjoy!

We like your photos. Nice contrasts with the floor, fabric, Formica. What color Formica did you select? Thanks.

One of sdnomis's early posts indicated interest in Basalt Slate. That is what it looks like to me.

Our build photos are rolling in now...still doesn't look like much, but this does show the new cabinet opening just inside the front door (that used to be accessible through a small exterior door which has been eliminated). We opted for having the upper portion of that cabinet filled in rather than the open counter space by the door, we wanted to maximize cabinet space.
