Looking good! I remember the long wait from our completion date in December until we picked up in April - suddenly it will be here and your adventure will begin!

Well my brother and I are at the Best Western Chilliwack and I have orientation in one hour and thirty minutes. Direct from my home in South Carolina is right at 3,000 miles. We've done over 3,800 getting here. We did the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. This was the first time I had done the Wind River approach to Jackson from Casper WY and it is spectacular. Before that we had visited the "Geographical Center" of the US in north central Kansas. From Spokane we went by the Grand Coulee Dam then down the Columbia a ways then Highway 20 across the Cascades. After clearing the Cascades we dropped to the south and headed back up into the mountains to Mount Ranier then over to the coast. Drove up the coast to the Olympic National Park and around the north side of the Olympic Peninsula to Port Townsend where we caught the ferry to Whidbey Island. Yesterday we headed up to Mount Baker with a stop at the Nooksack Falls along the way. Had lunch at Bob's Burgers in Sumas and then across the border to Chilliwack. We'll have two days in Lynden then down toward Moab.

Have a great trip back to North Augusta. We bought a 2014 21' and cancelled our August 7 Orientation.

Build pictures ?

Is Escape still sending owners build pictures ? If so when does this occur prior to the delivery date ?

Thanks, Bob

When the unit enters production, maybe 2-3 weeks before completion.

Just looked into my files. Our build sheet was finalized on 12/18/2018 so the original completion date was 3/18/2019 and we got our first build pictures on 2/27, exactly 3 weeks before completion date. So you should be right on the cusp of receiving your new build pictures. Also when you start getting build pictures if you want a shot of a particular spot or angle and you don't see it in the pictures they send you can ask for it. I did and they provided the shots we wanted.

Build pics of 17b

Our completion date is July 9th. Here are some build pictures of our 17b. You can see our fabric choice taped to the outside of trailer.

Just got a few unofficial pics from our sales rep at Escape, she just snapped a few with her phone, says they have been delayed in uploading our build pictures, more will follow soon.

It used to be the case that the ETI photographer would take weekly photos on Thursday afternoon of each trailer in production, and send them to the prospective owners. Tradition was that they would be posted by the owner on the "It's Friday" page.

( E.G. http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f1...-8031-247.html )

How much of this is still the case? (inquiring mind want to know, since we still, after 3 years of Escape ownership, get almost excited as the new owners, whenever we see these new Escapes soon to be hatched.)

Once our trailer got underway last winter we got photos literally every day for a week until it was just about completed. And we still love seeing new ones being hatched!

Here is what we have so far, hopefully we get more next week, Id like to see more details of how it is constructed.

It looks like the converter is being installed under the passenger side dinette seat. I thought they said it would be moved to the drivers side seat because of the rear double bed option...I like the maple wood, I wonder how much it will darken with the clear coat....

three more build pictures this week

It seems they are not doing official pictures, at least for our trailer...our sales rep is taking these with her cell phone.

I would have liked to see some pictures of the interior construction details, galley sink & faucet, head etc ......our completion date is July 16th and pickup is on July 18th.

After orientation we will just cross the road to Cottonwood for a couple of days to provision and checkout the trailer. Then a ferry to Vancouver Island for a week.
Followed with a ferry to Anacortes and then heading east stopping at a few of the USA National Parks on our way home.

Seems like it makes more sense for the sales rep or production scheduler to take the pics of new builds than a "worker bee." He/she would be able to field specific pic location requests for an owner.

I have no idea who is supposed to take the build pictures. In our case it appears the sales rep is doing it as a favour. We have only received the 6 pictures I posted. She said they were behind in uploading "the" pictures. She only took the cell pictures and emailed them because I asked about when we would start to see the build.

Its not what I expected based on what others have experienced here. They seem to be getting pictures every working day.
