Safe travels! You will love your 17!

Ron, thanks for the pic of that aluminum threshold device. That's just what I need for the bench end storage area in my 17A, just inside the door. Also there are two bolts/washers on the floor in there that i'll cover with something so bins can slide over them. I can't put enough bins to span the whole reach tied together because the storage area is 47 inches deep and the doorway between the bench and the refrigerator wall is much smaller (28). I might join two and leave a third one unconnected so it can just pull out and be put out of the way.

When I did a similar storage in my A Frame, I put those thin flexible cutting boards in the bottom of the bins to keep things/dirt/etc from falling through. Amazon has them 8 for $12.

The fabric is from Sailrite, Sunbrella Crete Denim. The folks at Sailrite were first rate (as many of you already know) and sent the fabric directly to ETI. We needed the fabric quickly because we had chosen a 17B that was scheduled for production but not yet reserved. We had about 2 weeks to get our build sheet together and the fabric to ETI. I sent a lot of fabric, and the upholsterers suggested a layout for the covers so they would have as few seams as possible. We are excited to pick up our trailer and more than a little nervous. Fortunately, there's a ton of information here, and I've been reading old threads for 2 months now. So, thanks!!

I'm wondering if the framed window in the bed area of your 5.0 does infact open awning style like the picture seemed to indicate? I have a 5.0 on order for April 2021 and we live in the PNW so would like to have window open in the rain.

On our 2019 5.0 the windows in the bed area open awning style. I like it for the reason you mentioned. John

We have double pane windows in our 2017 5.0 TA. Not only is nice to be able to open in rain, they are great for sleeping on hot nights. If it’s really warm and you can’t use AC ( which for us is most places we camp) what we do is put fan on exhaust, shut all the windows except those next to bed and you will be amazed at the breeze blowing across the bed. 😎

Final pictures! My trailer should reach me a week from Monday - hopefully with the missing cabinet door, all the wheels, and the scratches buffed out

Wheels, schmeels. Not necessary, right? . I was startled to see out ‘final’ pics minus wheels, but the trailer arrived with all. I also noticed that the missing cabinet door was there in your other pics. It will be fine. Congrats!
