Not sure I like the new design of the front tongue box.

This made me wonder how long it's been. I looked up records and we placed a deposit in March 2021. So from deposit to pick-up date is 11 months. I say this to encourage those who are expecting a really long wait, because ours started out as closer to two years too, but we moved up a few times.
Also our last Escape was a pre pandemic inventory one that they just had in stock*, and it’s been nice to make this one our very own. Versus waiting for a used one to come up. I’ve never seen a used or inventory model with just the same selections we prefer.
*Yes, in the good old days we looked at Escape's website to learn about them, and lo and behold they had a few available on hand. In the "before times", haha.

Hurry up and wait! Starting in December we had about ten days of daily new production photos. Now it has sat for almost three weeks. I suppose they must handle the builds in stages, such as doing all the cabinetry on a batch of trailers in one week, then perhaps they sit until there are enough to go on to the next step. So close and yet so far! Our pickup date is Feb. 28. Is anyone else in the same batch? Will we see you at Sumas?

My 5.0 is in production and they said it would possibly be ready 2nd week of Feb. I'm on day 9 of daily pics but that could change like your situation..

The January 2022 Q&A video mentions recent high rates of staff illness, as well as equipment not getting delivered to Escape on time. Sounds like they waited a long time for some range hoods and refrigerators that just came in. I'm going to stop expecting ours to be right on time and just hope that everyone is well again soon. I'm not trying to be all righteous here, I just don't want them to rush our build!

Those trailers don't look to be strapped down on the flatbed very secure!

Congrats on getting your first build photos!
We have been wondering when the build process might start for a scheduled mid-May completion of our 21C. Is it typically around two months out?

Congratulations! Right now I'm in the middle of wheel bearing maintenance on my 19, if I had a 17 right now I would be done already!

Our completion date is April 1, and we received an email from Karl on Feb. 3 saying our trailer was entering production.

Thanks, and congrats. Well then, based on that, it looks like we might get a similar email in mid-March…………hopefully

Ha - I thought that when we first accepted the date! Karl has been upfront in his communications with us, noting that "...with potential supply chain or production disruptions, any communicated completion dates can still shift and we recommend not to make travel plans until we have confirmed that your trailer is 100% complete."

Does anyone know if trailers in production are put on temporary wheels or axles? A photo we received today shows our trailer with aluminum wheels and it looks like it may have the lift kit? Neither option are on our build sheet.

I would definitely contact your rep and let them know. It was not my experience that any temporary wheels were on our trailer.

Yes; I will contact them on Monday. I just saw today’s photos and thought I’d see what folks’ experience was.
