Talking Alan E's 5.0 - Fourth batch of pics

As of ~7AM this Wednesday July 28th the 5.0 is off the lift it occupied yesterday morning.

Nothing obviously new on the outside view, but we see more progress inside, notably the installed bath-module and loft-steps. I'm particularly thrilled to see the escape-hatch now revealed but the roof vents not (again, just as specified).

We now have a power-center, with juice to overhead lights, too!

21 days to GCD, no worries!

Talking Alan E's 5.0 - Fifth batch of pics

Moving right along, it's ~7AM Thursday morning July 28th and we now have windows, doors on the propane and front storage compartments, a refrigerator, the loo installed, and more cabinet progress! Gee, these daily photo updates are just swell, kudos to ETI for the easy pics-portal download system, well done!

Aside but very much related, AM Solar notified me this morning that the Grape Solar 200W PV panels are back in-stock. So I submitted my order for those, destined for the roof of this trailer, all the bits are coming together in a hurry.

Talking Alan E's 5.0 - Sixth batch of pics

Another day, it's ~9AM on Friday June 30th and we finally get a peek at the exterior front / drivers side / rear (front graphic centered as requested, and we now have a belly-band insert ).

Inside, we see more progress on the cabinetry, the SS vent hood and 'stripper-pole' installed, and enough of a peek inside the bath to confirm the requested lavatory delete.

Update on the previously mentioned PV panels ordered from AMS: FedEx confirms they have them in hand, they're being drop-shipped directly from Grape Solar's warehouse in Eugene, OR.

I hope everyone has a great weekend, we'll be back again in August!

Excited for you Alan! Nice to see it coming together nicely after all your planning and patient waiting.

It's fun to now be able to contribute my pics to this forum thread which has been a tremendous resource for planning my trailer. I've benefitted greatly from past contributions here, hope to 'pay that forward' in some small token

Talking Alan E's 5.0 - Seventh batch of pics

ETI didn't upload any pics yesterday (Monday) but at ~7AM on Tuesday August 3rd we have 19 pics with the folder name "Last of Production Photos". Here's ETI's explanation of what that means:
The last set of photos in this stage will show substantial completion i.e., all the systems are installed and fully tested & the main structure and cabinetry will all be in place. This is not the end, after this stage in our main assembly line your trailer will go to storage in our offsite secure storage yard, and then when we wait to prepare for your delivery/pickup. When your delivery/pickup date gets close, we will pull your trailer from storage and complete our Pre-Delivery Inspection and Finalization (PDI). This is where we polish the outside, detail the inside and put all the final touches to your Escape. Final photos will be uploaded to the same link when we complete PDI.
So, I guess that ETI considers it "substantially complete" even though missing the cabinet doors (and cooktop?), or maybe those will be installed during the day today but there's no photo-op until after PDI?

As of this moment I've received no indication if it'll actually be "Complete" before the GCD (which is 15 days from today) even though I've stated I'd prefer / accept delivery to Denton ASAP.

Attaching only a representative few of the 19 pics ETI uploaded for today ....

We got the same message last week with our last 17 pics. Our GCD is 09-02-21. I'm sure they will get everything you want done in time! Oh and on the July q&A video from Escape Karl said that if you ask them they will shoot a video of your specific trailer and go through the systems with you and send it to you since they aren't doing one-on-ones. It won't be as detailed as orientation, but they will answer any questions you might have if you send them the questions before they do the video. That's what we're planning to do anyway. And I also ask for a copy of the PDI which they said will be included in our paperwork.

Talking Alan E's 5.0 - Eighth (and Final) batch of pics

It's been 16 days since 'substantial completion' and we now have 35 "Final' pics taken on Thursday August 19th at ~1PM. I had many 'deliver loose' items on my build sheet so lots of the pics were documenting those thing packed in the trailer for transport.

I've been contacted by the transport company, pickup is time is set for next Wednesday in Denton, TX.

All looks great to me*, I've posted a note about the cooktop here. Yes, the bath will have a shower (but no sink) - the pic of the open cabinet reveals the water lines stubbed-out there for the shower-valve and sprayhead I'll be installing

*I am gonna have to fix that obviously misaligned stripe in front of the door

Exclamation Straight Stripes update

Update:
I just received one more set of 'loadup pics' and it's obvious that, unbidden by me, someone at ETI decided that stripe was wonky and got it straight between yesterday and today at loadup. Now I know what that piece of red-tape was indicating on the door in yesterday's pics

Good on ETI, now we're really kicking things off on the right foot!

Looking very good! You must be excited about Wednesday!

That’s quite quick. I suppose the trucker is not taking the scenic route

The loadup pics reveal what appears to be an E19 sans-decals on the flatbed behind mine, so there's one to drop somewhere before (or maybe another at) Denton, they aren't gonna be dallying that's for sure!

Yes, I'm excited for certain!
