How exciting! We have the 19 which I guess is just the shrunken version of your 21NE -- or yours is the expanded version of ours! I think good storage for under the queen bed was our first project -- SO much space under there! Congratulations!

Pictures of 21C

So we have been getting pictures of our camper recently. We selected the Maple cabinetry. In one of our pictures the divider wall between the kitchen and u-shaped dinette appears to be the new contemporary interior? Is this the new normal?

In my new 5.0 with 'maple' cabinets, the kitchen-side only of that divider wall adjacent to the cooktop is a lightly patterned / textured 'very-light-brown-to-tan' paneling rather than the faux maple woodgrain. The color-spectrum is very similar to the maple. The dinette-side of the wall is the faux maple woodgrain.

It is definitely not the same as the contemporary cabinet paneling, I have a sample of the contemporary material from ETI which is much lighter, approaching 'paper white', and is also more deeply / roughly textured.

Perhaps this 'new' finish is more robust than the faux maple (smooth vinyl) coating in the face of spatters or heat from the adjacent cooktop (pure speculation about the reason for the change)? Whatever, IMO it looks OK there.

It's not a mistake if that's what you are thinking. It appears that when you get the maple interior the cooktop side of the divider has an off-white finish. Interestingly you get oak or contemporary that side of the divider looks to match the rest of the trailer finishes. Best to ask Escape why the interior of the divider only on the maple has a different finish.

We have the stainless steel backsplash and I ordered another section of that stainless steel and I'm going to put it on that little wall at the bottom.

More pics 2021 E19

Continue build. I hope these can help someone with a repair or mod sometime.

I got my “Dometic” internet working again tonight. I can only hope it lasts longer than Suburban’s SDS2. So one more batch of pics.

You must be excited! I like the clean no graphics look. Although they all look like that at the start lol.

Did you switch from a 5.0 to the 19'?

It's weird to me that they are just building your's now with a GCD in a week. They built mine a full month ago, and my GCD is still five weeks away.

Our trailers are kinda similar. There are differences here and there. Different fabric, I only got the solar pre-wire (doing my own, also doing my own AC).....awning choices. And the biggie......I went with the graphics.

We've been going through the trailer checking all systems, so far, so good. We will be testing the refrigerator tonight overnight on propane because our power cord is 3 feet short of plugging into the house. :-( We got a solid counter top, no cutout or stove top, and were pleasantly surprised to find Escape still ran a propane line under the counter and capped it off! So, if in the future we decide to not use the portable induction cooktop we can use a portable propane burner. Nice!

Yes, I’ve sort of followed your posts here since our deposit dates were close, but your build sheet was done first. That might be part of it. I’m guessing supply chain is more of it. They could work it in a spot, and then only have a little left to complete when that special whatchamacallit arrived.

The big issue popping up now is personnel. The blue collar comments on Indeed aren’t favorable, but the white collar comments seem to be. We may be getting trailers built by inexperienced staff - just like most of the industry.

ETI has had a standing Help Wanted ad in the local newspaper for years.

Yes. It’s not a 4 season trailer, but I like running water and will push the limits. Our Bigfoot was great for December / January trips.

On the very top of pic#3 above, there appears to be a 120 volt plug?
