I 100% agree with Sandra. How can we NOT be happy for all new Escape trailer owners? Even those that have never seen one in person.. before they placed an order! COOL BEANS!

I'm glad to be part of the Escape family and am looking forward to many adventures with my 19. The mutual joy, passion and sincere pride in owning one really makes you feel like your home.

Ah, it's finally mine and I had a very peaceful nights sleep and a good nap. I can relax end enjoy the long leisure trip back. Staying at Cultus lake and I brought some of the warm California weather with me. Highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's yesterday. Will get some rain, but I don't look at it as raining on my parade. I look at it as a christening of my new 19.

Was going to stay 2 days, but want to stay in a couple of parks, sooooo, decided to spend 3 days in Bridal Falls too. Want to enjoy BC while I'm here.

Had to go through a PITA coming back into Canada with the trailer. Made me and the boys sit on a bench while they went through my truck, trailer and iPhone, ipad and laptop. Even wanted my passwords for them. Got through and went on my way after about 2 hours in line and 1/2 hour being inspected.

Want to attach some pics, but internet speed is too slow. Pics to come soon. I'm finding BC is expensive. 1.42.9/liter Canadian for gas. I thought California was pricy. :

ETI didn't import your trailer into the U.S for you? Guess I missed you were camping in BC first.... I pickup my new 5er one week from tomorrow. Wait until the border guards see what's in the back of my pickup. Might take them a week to go through it... hahahahaha (nothing "illegal")

Yup. Came up here Sunday and checked out my 19 on Monday. ETI imported my 19 to the US no problem. It was getting it back to BC that was the adventure. Guess it's the state of security now days. Had made reservations in BC for both parks because of the Canada holiday, many of the parks were booked into next week. All's good now and will be back in the US Sunday.

Bridal Falls is not a destination for me. I've driven past hundreds of times. What attracted you to go there?
When driving past, I was usually heading for the Skagit River, which, unfortunately isn't open yet ( Opens July 1 I believe ). Catch and release river, rainbow trout 14" to 22" caught regularly.
Provincial Park. No services. Water from a hand pump and pit toilets, but large sites right on the river.
No cell coverage, no TV or radio.
Pix at Silvertip Campground.

OOH Now I get it (Donna D., catch up!). Forgive me my Canadian friends, but I didn't know this next weekend was a Canadian holiday. I have a hard enough time keeping up with U.S. holidays (a lot are NOT on the same day!). I thought I was picking up my 5er on June 30 and it wasn't until I visited ETI in April that found out that was a long weekend in BC. D'oh! All is good, I'm adaptable.

Safe travels home Mark, you've made a memory!

Bridal Falls used to be the home of Dinoland, a sort of Flintstone's derivative.
Fellow I worked with told his 4-year-old son he was taking him to Disneyland and they spent the afternoon at Dinoland instead.
I figure his son will get him back for that, in time.

I doubt he can make it from Chilliwack to Texas in 3 days. It is about 2500 miles and Dave drives by himself. Took him almost 8 days for 3000 miles. I'd guesstimate Friday morning.
Let's start a pool…..

FishBioGirl is over here on the east Mississippi side off the world, a 19 I think. I think with the 5.0 TA and the 21', only 2 units can be shipped together due to length limitations. Not sure with 2 drivers if they may still be limited to 10/24 restriction? Could make it on Tuesday if not.
