Re: Ladybug is home!

Very nice, Brian. I knew that you had taken delivery when a $200 cheque from Escape arrived in my mailbox yesterday. Yes, Reace and Tammy really do pay people to show off their trailers. (Good timing - mice had chewed some wiring in the RAV4, and this about covers it.)

Anyway, I hope that you have a great time with the new trailer. What is its first scheduled outing?

Ron:

We are signed up for the Northern Oregon Gathering at Silver Falls, OR April 22 to 25, then the Escape Rally in Merritt, BC June 4 to 6, then the Oregon Gathering in Bandon, OR July 15 to 18. We also have reservations for the Sisters Quilt Show July 8 to 11 and to South Beach OR July 12 to 14. We may make some other trips too. We slept in our trailer the first night we had it home, and it was great.

Thank you for your help in deciding what we needed and for giving us advice based on your experience.

Brian

Here are a couple of inside shots:

Finished trailer Feb 16

Finished trailer Feb 16

The counter top and cushion fabric were our selection. The sink and faucets are stainless steel. The trailer has double glazed windows and extra insulation and a hot water tank with outside shower.

Looks great Brian, congrats.

A little confused though, what is all that green stuff around it in the photo. Is that an old stock photo, or sumpin'?

Jim:

In the Olympic City this is our winter decoration. Photo was taken last week, not a stock photo. Ladybug likes it just fine.

Re: Ladybug is home!

But, to be able to take off and ski right out my back yard has its benefits too.

The green is sure nice though.

Re: Ladybug is home!

Looks great Brian. I know the excitement, just gotta sleep in it!!!!!
I'm with Jim, sure doesn't look like Canada! Down in the South (Virginia), there's still a foot of snow on the ground!
How did you get it into your yard? That looks tight!

Re: Ladybug is home!

Dan:

The gate opening is 12 feet wide. I came down the lane, backed part way onto the pad, attached the wheel to the hitch jack, and rolled it the rest of the way in. No problem! This might be easier to do with a 13 foot trailer than a larger one.

We slept in the trailer the first night it was home and have had several meals there. Now we have to cut the grass and get the trailer ready for our first camping trip in the next week or so!
