More photos of the new 19'
Yesterday I headed up to ETI to take photos of one of our cellular shades against the wall of a new 2017 style trailer. I just posted a new thread on that:
http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f4...tml#post148141
While I was there, I also took some photos of the new stripper pole in their display model - which was different from the one I saw last time I was there (or they added it; heck if I know which). I also took photos of the mattress area (both per CPAHarley's questions) and of the underseat storage. Those areas were a bit tricky as I had to hold up the cushion and cover with one hand while holding the camera in the other. But it's the best you're gonna get until you get your own trailer.
First up is the stripper pole taken from both sides. This is the support pole that's used in the 21 (and 5.0 ??) in the kitchen area. It's loving called the stripper pole by many. It's great to hold onto as you go out the trailer. It's been stated that this is now standard in the 19 as well.
(Crud, forgot all about the bathroom door - will take a good photo of that when I'm up there soon to see the 21 when it's ready for display.)

Driver's side seat. First shows it without the cushion and the next two of the inside. Actually, I was able to remove the cushion, so these photos weren't too hard. Must have been in the 17 I didn't remove the cushions entirely.

Passenger side seat under storage area. I don't know if that support frame was there before - someone with a current trailer could answer that. I was thinking it could make it a bit tricky to store stuff in there, but I guess that's better than having it fall down on you due to not enough support. (Least I'm assuming it's for support, but I could be wrong. That's happened a time or two in the past and I'm sure it'll happen again. )

Photos of the mattress area. I pulled back the comforter and there is a gap around the mattress and the walls - both along the side and the top and end. Sorry, but wasn't going to crawl across the bed to check that end - my knees aren't good enough for that. Nor was I paid enough to do that.
I do not know how this gap compares to what it's like in a non-2017 version. Someone else can answer that. It's been mentioned elsewhere on this forum that ETI was putting in a slightly smaller mattress than the area is so there's a gap all around. These photos might help answer that question.
First two photos are at the stove end. Last two are at the frig end.

New 2017 19' Trailer - interior and exterior photos
The gap between our mattress and walls looks about the same - which is a good idea, not only so you can tuck in a thick blanket or comforter, but for airflow and condensation reduction.

Thank you very much Laura for the pictures. The pole looks great, the storage appears the same, yes there was always the middle support there on the curb side and glad to see the air space around the mattress, takes care of the condensation issue. Thanks again for your diligence, hope to meet you and personally shake your hand.

You're welcome, Jim. I forgot the full length photo of the bathroom door as I didn't have my list of measurements with me, which also included notes on taking photos of the underseat storage areas and the door. Oh well, it'll get done later. Way before you get your trailer, I'm sure.
Hey, we just might be at the rally in Osoyoos next year! One never knows. Unless I'm wandering around another part of the country at that time. Our trailer's gonna get used a lot!

thanks for taking more Escape 19 pics Laura, sure helps those of us who have one on order and have not visited the factory yet...guessing if nothing else the stripper pole supports the overhead cabinet better , but it may get in the way using the counter and counter extension.
as for this buyer will need to request Escape install a normal two handled faucet instead of that single handled faucet.

just noticed something may have changed here...that black pipe visible in your 2017 Escape 19 driver side under seat pic...assume it is the black tank vent pipe...
compared to a previous pic of a 2016 in which it is not visible.
The water line moved too?
If these did change ,curious as to why?
bathroom cabinet in interior wall?

The black tank has always been under that piece of wood seen in pre and post 2017 19' Escapes, except now you can see the feed of both the supply and discharge. Perhaps a different toilet set up or ability to install a cut off valve is now available.

I'll be able to hang my toes over the edge when sleeping on my stomach. Yeah!
Thank you for taking and posting all those pictures, Laura. It's great to see what my trailer will look like when I get it next year.

are you indicating that maybe the now visible black pipe in the 2017 is the pipe connected to the bottom of the toilet or is it the black tank vent pipe to the roof?
was under the impression that the bottom of the toilet went thru a flush trap door directly into the top of the black tank with no angle pipes.

Can not give you an accurate answer until I get my new one later this year.

Would the larger tanks this year have an impact?

appears so after receiving this info from Escape
" The black pipe you are referring to is the black tank vent which runs from the black tank through to the roof of the trailer. With the new larger black tank we have had to move the vent."

That is correct. The toilet sits on top of part of the black tank and the tank extends into the bench seat area. It appears nothing has changed except the size of the tank and the vent.

Anyone have the dimensions of the 2017 19 foot dinette table? The one with the two seats and not the U shaped one. Is it the same as the 2016 dinette?

The bathroom door
Okay, CPAHarley, here's the full length photo of the bathroom door in the new 19 footer that I promised you long time ago. I didn't get a photo of the bottom of the bathroom door, but I did of the gap at the top. It's the same size, both top and bottom - 3/4 of an inch.
