New 21 In Production

I know that you have all seen endless photos of Escapes in production. So, here are a couple more. Our new 21 is in production. We will not be able to pick it up until the middle of June. Very excited. There is a rally in Hope, BC that we might try and attend as we work our way (slowly) back to Texas.

I never get tired of seeing these pictures. Just knowing the joy it is going to bring the new owners. We only get about 60 nights a year in ours but it is still worth it. Have a great trip and I hope you enjoy the time you have in our beautiful province.

Thanks. We have traveled central and western Canada over the years. Always a good time.

We chose Havana Tobacco, which is now one of the standard options.

Our new 21C

She was 'hijacked by covid' last Spring..but these were the pix sent by ETI to show us how our choices looked, right after installation. WE finally were able to take delivery in Phoenix in June! [an adventure]
Scroll down bit to the "hollybee" page. BTW we love having both wardrobes 'up top' and the larger sink was a good choice.
https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...-8031-129.html

Note the extra round vents... at least one in most lower storage areas, but two added for under-bunk venting. We have added a layer of 'vent material' under the front mattress. I was a bit skeptical of the front bunk at first, but found it is easy to get in and OUT of any time w/o disturbing yer partner..IF you simply slide out the aft end. The mattress is 'full' width but 'queen length'...and it really "sleeps like a queen size"..bks you can sleep right up to the edge of the mattress on both sides..no worries of 'rolling off'..bks of a wall on both sides. Holly likes the driver side and I prefer the passenger side for sleeping..no worries.
We discussed getting the rear bunk model, but it just didn't work (for us) bks it seemed we wd lose about 14 cu ft of storage on either side..just to get 'walk-around room'..and we wanted to optimise storage. It worked out ok for us..plus we really prefer the dinette/settee/lounge area in the aft position..kinda like a boat layout. The "bed in the rear" reminded us too much of our old Casita too. The TV mount went in easy, but I did have to drill thru the front wall of the forward wardrobe to get enuf wood for support..we do NOT travel w TV mounted!! ETI was great afa options and other changes!!
We are satisfied w the front window too and like a 'clean look' so deleted the outside graphics.

We had a 21 on order but the bed is what made us question our decision. We haven't slept on a full size bed in probably 35 years and then to both be up against a wall? Other than the bed we loved the layout of the trailer. We ended up switching to the 5th wheel and should take delivery Feb. 2021. So glad y'all are happy with your decision. We also choose the standard dinette because we wanted the largest table available.

I love how those tabacco floors look with the maple...

Love the flooring and cabinet color choices.

What countertop are you getting?

Very nice color combination with the flooring.
Interesting that in the past you could barely see the floors at this stage as they would tape a covering over the floor to help protect it while the workers complete the interior construction.
Has this practice been abandoned?

We received photos of our 21C in progress beginning last week. The floor wasn't covered in the first batch we received, but it was covered up on the second batch. It sure is exciting to receive the progress pictures from ETI!
