I will definitely post final build photos from ETI. We haven't received them yet. They told us final photos would be posted close to pickup day - 4/12. We have purchased the trailer and ETI FedEx'ed all the documents. I have an appointment tomorrow at the RI DMV to transfer the registration from the sold Casita to the 5.0 - wish me luck!

Custom sink

Hello, and congratulations on the beautiful5.0! Ours is scheduled to be completed in September. A couple of questions....
Since you, like we, are in the US, from where did you order the Houzer sink?
Did you say that the flush mount oven would have necessitated making the two galley drawers 2" narrower?
Thanks for any info you can share.

Drawer size with flush mount oven

Thanks to further research on the forum, I have confirmed that the drawers are reduced from 8.5 inches wide to 6 inches wide if one opts for the flush mount vs the other oven. Good to know! Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

I am not the OP but our build includes the Houzer sink. We ordered it from Amazon.ca to deliver directly to ETI. We could have got is cheaper in the US but had no desire to deal with the logistics... There are other options in Canada, so shop around.

That's exactly what we did. A bit cheaper with Amazon.com, but the total shipping charges to ETI were astronomical.

Same for us. Just pulled the trigger on our E-100 order to be shipped straight to ETI for our 5.0 build completion in August. Also ordered the Stylish ST-06 black drain strainer to match. Final element was the faucet. The best (i.e most reasonable cost) I could find is the AguaStella #AS59MB in black which is only available in the US so I'm going to have to ship that to ETI after it arrives at my home.

Picked up our new 5.0 at Bob's Burgers in Sumas after about 49 hours in 6 days driving from Bristol RI. Trailer looks great and the build quality is better than we expected. A couple of delivery issues: no BAL stabilizer crank handle in the trailer and the Andersen adapter on the hitch pin was installed with the bolts reversed rather than recommended positions. After removing the standard nut, the eye nut near the lock mechanism (passenger side) could not be threaded on because of interference from the locking mechanism. Luckily, I had a 1/4" hex wrench with adapter for my torque wrench and was able to remove the set screws, reverse the bolts and after threading on the eye bolt, torqued the set screws to the 40 ft-lbs, and hook up the emergency chains.

Spent three days at Bay View State Park and after trips to nearby Burlington for food and supplies we are pretty well set for our trip home. We then went to Fort Casey overnight, took the ferry to Port Townsend and then to Salt Creek. We will continue south on 101 for a while before heading east. About a month before we're back in Bristol. Here are a few photos:

Love the interior look!

How has your towing experience been? We have a deposit in for a 5.0TA driving a F150 SCREW short bed. Our first trailer was a 16' Scamp we towed w/a Chevy Traverse (didn't know the trailer was there). Our second was a Lance 2185 (about 26') that was an absolute struggle in the strong crosswinds we get in northern Colorado.

We have very limited towing experience, but so far the trailer seems very stable behind our F150 with the 6.5 ft bed. We can turn with the truck at 90 deg. to the trailer, although I think it will be very rare that we'll need to do that. The 2.7 L Ecoboost seems more than sufficient and I like the auto engine braking for steep down grades in tow-haul mode.

Good times ahead for you! Enjoy every minute while you make memories together.

Hi dlite. I noticed you are located in Fort Collins and we are in Loveland. We sold our 16' Casita to upgrade to a ETI 5.0 (completion Aug 9). We are in the final stages of completing our Build Sheet with just a few more "details" to iron out. We also just took delivery of a 2021 F150 SCREW (5.5' bed) Powerboost. Do you mind sharing what you plan to use for your hitch setup?

Hi gjsheldon - small world! Congrats!

> Do you mind sharing what you plan to use for your hitch setup?

I'm in the early stages, but ETI recommended the Anderson Ultimate to me. I think it is this one. ETI also has a doc w/the hitch requirements.

I noticed that Kirby's Hitch & Wiring in Loveland is listed as an Anderson dealer.

What were you planning on using?

I don't know if you're travelling thru Dayton Ohio on your way back to Rhode Island, but I would trade you a tour of the Air Force Museum for a tour of your camper. I'm trying to convince my wife to get one.

Sorry Chamberman, I should have stated my request in clearer terms. I meant the TeleVision mount inside the trailer, not the Tow Vehicle hitch mount.
