New Escape arrives home!
My wife and I picked up our new 17B Escape on 11/12/15 and arrived home yesterday evening. We spent two nights testing the trailer in an intense storm hitting BC and Western Washington. We were totally snug and dry. We love our trailer.
Last concern was fitting into my shop. Shop door header 8' 7.5" -- trailer height 8' 6.5". As long as I sweep the doorway first it fits, no problem.

If you get too swollen with pride, it might not fit.

Where does the time go? You ordered your trailer and before you knew it, the build sheet was due. The pick up date comes sooner than expected and after a nice trip bringing your new trailer home, it is time to put it in winter storage. Looking back, it was almost a dream. Oh well, spring will be here soon. Loren

That is definitely a close fit. Make sure that you don't take any significant loads out of your trailer while it is parked in your garage, or you may find that the trailer sits higher and could hit the overhead door frame as you exit. Also, in some climates, frost or even just seasonal changes in moisture content in the soil below your floor slab can cause significant movement of your floor slab (up or down). Would be best to go slowly and check clearances every time you enter or leave your garage.

Close clearance
I'm sure you've considered many of factors that could impact the clearance of your escape. I have found that a note on the hitch amounting to a " Has anything changed?" checklist is my best reminder to consider all of the variables. Best of luck with your new rig.

You may have to let some air out of your tires!

Half ince to spare
Now that I've taken the trailer in and out several times I no longer climb a ladder to make sure It fits.. I do sweep the floor first though just in case.

Reply was on a pic of a guy who barely got his rig into garage. Had less than an inch to spare. Don't know how it was posted here.

Kudos to you on your new trailer. I would be very cautious whenever taking the trailer in or out of the garage. Glad it fits.
