Our 19 construction has started
After a very long wait time, our Escape 19 has finally entered production and we got our first set of pictures. Not much to show yet, but some of the shots may help others get a look at the internals of the unit.
We ordered our Escape on November 16, 2016 and it is due for completion on September 15, 2017. It is really a weird feeling as it is finally becoming a reality. All these past months it has just been a subject of planning and topic of discussion. Now, it is really happening.
We are planning to drive to Seattle and visit friends and our kids along the way. As are kids live in Seattle we will stay their until our orientation, which is a 11:00 AM on the 15th. We plan to leave early on the 15th, do the orientation and head back to Seattle all in that one day.
Here are the first pictures.

We just picked up ours last week and seeing these pictures is still really cool!
(and I noticed you got one more picture than ours in the same "batch"!)
Depends on where you are heading to in Seattle, one thing you might consider is the traffic going in/out of Seattle.. we left Lynden 10am-ish, left Marysville 1:30-2pm-ish and got stuck on I-5 going into Seattle (405 going thru Bellevue is equally bad) and didn't get to south of the downtown area until 6pm or so.. we thought it was really bad considered that we are from the SF Bay Area where traffic is always really bad .... Friday afternoon and a Seahawks game is a bad combination I guess.

Seventeen (or so) days from start to finish! Not too shabby for a custom-appointed travel trailer!

Ooh, ooh! I'll share in your excitement as I keep waiting for my own 19er to go into production! Must be exhilarating to get the pictures! Can hardly wait for mine!

True. However, it is waiting the 10 months for production to start that was frustrating. Their improved production facilities have really shortened the lead time. We just bought at peak of wait times.

Our kids live in Snoqualmie, east of Seattle. We will have to take the 405 from Bellevue north. We plan to leave early, so hopefully will miss most of the traffic. We will be returning to Bellevue as we have a reservation at an RV site there.

More pictures today. It is hard to believe it is becoming a reality. All the challenges of picking a manufacturer and model; then with Escape, all the decisions on options, fabric, etc. Then the wait. The forum has been invaluable in answering many questions. And, as always, Escape has been responsive to all the other questions.
As newbies to trailering, this will be a real adventure.

We are in Salt Lake, visiting friends, on our way to Chilliwack. Meagan continues to send us update pictures. It is getting exciting. Here are few more of the build in progress.

Hey! Would anybody with a new 19 mind giving me the measurements for the two inside openings to the under bed storage area? Would love to be able to anticipate container sizes I'll need for using that space. Thanks in advance!

The opening dimension under the bed is 28"x15". However, if you look at the pictures, the floor is raised under the bed, so the 15" is less by a few inches. I think I bought 11" tall containers.

the opening is 28" x 15" as mentioned above. I just went out to measure, with the raised floor you get 13" inside..

Thank you, rbrandenstein & Caddoster! Really appreciate your efforts for me. Would the 28" width span both doors with no divider between the two? That's what I would assume.

There is no vertical divider on the opening under the bed.

The very first few Escape 19s in 2009 had them. When mine came up I asked it not be there. Reace grumbled something about needing support, and I just said make it happen, and he did.
