Spring 2011

Here is a picture from this morning of Ladybug on her pad waiting for the next opportunity to go camping. The sun is shining, the grass is growing, the plum tree is in blossom. Wonderful!

This is the best I can do for now since Escape is still building it. Will be picking my 17B up the end of April & I'll have some more photos!

They are similar to these:

They fit nicely under the stabilizer jacks. I think we bought ours in the Walmart RV boutique.

Re: Spring 2011

I have similar pads.

You just have to remember to remove them before taking photos of the trailer. Those bright yellow, or orange pads stand out like a setting sun, but in all the wrong places.

I thought of painting mine dirt brown, but then I know I would leave them behind.

Glenn:

Have a heart! Our wheel chocks are bright green, our jack pads are bright yellow and we have bright orange levelling
blocks. The plum blossoms are pink. The grass is green. The sky is blue. Some campers wear blue jeans. Baglo

After sending this I mentioned the yellow pads to my wife. She agreed with you! She had insisted that I remove the bright red container we use for grey water, but I thought the pads were just fine. Live and learn! I guess colour sense does not come naturally to everyone...

Re: Spring 2011

We could just carry a few yards of burlap with us. I've used camp chopping blocks or firewood to disguise my orange leveling blocks in the past. Or you could just shovel dirt on top.

Re: Spring 2011

I love yellow (not to wear however), notice all the smilies are yellow? Yellow reminds me of sunshine and sunshine makes me happy. We see so little of it this time of the year. If dandilions weren't such a horrible yard weed, I'd love them too

Nice picture Brian... safe travels!

Re: Spring 2011

Yeah, as a photographer, you have to be aware of every element in a photo. Good thing there's Photoshop!
They're bright yellow to attract attention, in this case so you don't leave them behind accidentally. Maybe you get immune to the color after a while? It was the first thing I saw in the picture before I came to appreciate the more aesthetic subtleties!

Regards,

Matt

Re: Spring 2011

Thank you for your comments. I have fixed the yellow pads with a Smart Brush. It was impossible to bring back the moment.

Since I'm an Oregon Duck Fan (of sorts), I thought they were duck feet! And cute at that.

Hi: Sandra L... I've heard that you almost need "Web'd feet" on the "Wet coast". Alf
