Tetons! And beyond…

We’re on a decently long trip up through the Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, and finally Waterton (a brief trip back to the motherland for our trailer ). I’ll try to post some more pictures as the Raincloud visits more national parks.

Anyone else in the same area over the next couple weeks? Or any recommendations?

My brother says the trail around Jenny Lake is beautiful.

If you get past the west entrance and head north a tad into Montana, on the north side of Hebgen Lake there's a place called Happy Hour Bar. A few years back they served the best mushroom swiss burger I'd ever eaten. Actually the meal (with fries) was so big I couldn't finish it (I took the rest with me for later). The view of the lake from the back deck was a bit of a surprise.

If possible, don't miss Bear Tooth Pass from Silver Gate Wyoming north of Yellowstone to Red Lodge Montana.

One year we visited Yellowstone and left the park via the silver gate . It was July. It snowed on us and the road was a challenge. I had a fully loaded fold down camper that was 2900 lbs pulled by my 82 Buick sedan. Three kids, two coolers in the trunk, air bags. Transmission cooler. Had no problem. Watch the clip and smile.

It's probably out of your way, but the drive on US 93 from Arco, Idaho to Missoula, Montana is stunning.

I appreciate everyone’s advice! But I’ll have to remember it next time we are in the area: the flooding in Yellowstone and nearby towns is making us reevaluate our plans. I feel horrible for all these folks, seeing the stories of houses being carried away. Seems like these 100 year storms are occurring more and more often…

We’re stopping by Ennis RV Park tomorrow for a quick layover before pushing further north to Glacier.

If you haven’t heard the news, here is some more info I posted: https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...sed-23156.html
