checklists

Pick up our Escape 19 at end of week. Where can i find checklists for pre-trip plannings, setting up and breaking down during camping, ongoing care during this year, ect. I sure they exist on this forum. Not sure where to find them . Thank you.

If you have an Android phone, check out an app called RVChecklist. It's ugly and a bit unfriendly to customize, but it's been around forever and works nicely.

I used to use Google Keep, until I accidentally clicked "Remove all checked items" instead of "Uncheck all items", and wiped out my entire checklist.

I received a checklist on breaking down with my Escape. Still use it.

Ours came with one. It’s on the fridge, but I seldom look at it. If I have a day with distractions, it’s there.

Escape includes a list with the trailer upon pick-up. But, if you want it prior to that time it is on the website under the Owners drop down list in the Owners Manual which can be downloaded in PDF format and printed. It is approximately 70 pages. The manual, not the list.

Adapt them, reduce size, laminate it and hang it by the door.

There was an extensive list on FGRV that included "Make List".

The wife and I each have a little note book. She covers the inside, I cover the outside.
Really easy to forget stuff.

I didn't find the Escape provided checklists to be useful; checklists are as individual as our camper trailers and we the owners.

Here are the CSV content I use for the RVChecklist. You can use them for inspiration.

At Home

"Upcoming Trip", category
"Groceries purchased"
"Stocked kitchen/pantry"
"Stocked bathroom"
"Vehicle fluid levels checked"
"Trailer tank levels ready"
"Vehicle tire pressure good"
"Trailer tire pressure good"
"Trailer wheel lug nut torque good"

"Home Departure Day", category
"Garmin satellite messenger"
"His medications"
"Her medications"
"Her sleep mouth piece"
"His clothes"
"Her clothes"
"Exercise Equipment"
"Groceries loaded"
"Solar panel detached"

Departure

"Pre-Departure Inside Trailer", category
"Thermostat is Off"
"Refrigerator on propane"
"Tank Levels checked"
"Water Pump and Heater off"
"Sink water pressure released"
"Table locked"
"Roof vents and windows closed"
"Cabinets and doors closed"
"Basket under range secure"
"Stove top covered"
"Rear camera on"

"Pre-Departure Outside Trailer", category
"Range hood vent closed"
"Electrical disconnected"
"Water and sewer disconnected"
"Stabilizers raised"
"Hitch ball lubricated"
"Hitched trailer to vehicle"
"Umbilical and chains connected"
"Wheel chocks stowed"
"Doors and hatches locked"
"Entry step stowed"
"Signal lights tested"
"Final walk around performed. Look under, around, over."

Arrival

"Boondock Arrival", category
"Gravity level"
"Wheels chocked"
"Umbilical disconnected"
"Unhitched?"
"Stabilizers lowered?"
"Range hood vent open?"
"Entry step lowered"

"Campsite Check in", category
"Discount for AAA or Good Sam?"
"Request a map and directions"
"Request gate entry codes if applicable"
"Ask if Internet access is offered and details"
"Confirm that slot has expected facilities"
"Campsite Setting Up", category
"Gravity level"
"Electrical connected, breaker on, TEST"
"Refrigerator set to A/C"
"Water source connected"
"Umbilical disconnected"
"Unhitched?"
"Stabilizers lowered?"
"Range hood vent open?"

I’d add check power pole for correct voltage

Your Progressive EMS should be able to detect any miss wiring in the supply side...
and if found prevent/shut off power to the trailer.

So true Jim but in actually checking the power pole keeps one from setting things up then packing up if needing to move to another space. I’ve had to move a couple of time due to a bad power pole just a suggestion that’s all

The nice thing about the Progressive EMS is that it continues to work, even after hooking up. Sometimes on hot days when everyone is operating their a/c the campground system can become overloaded. Brown outs or reduced voltage can harm your electronics if allowed for an extended amount of time. The EMS will shut off your power, automatically, even if you are not present, to protect your trailer's electrical items.
