We are picking our E5.0 on May 31st. So, this is an active topic for us. I will be trying to download the videos I can find on a flash drive this weekend. There is good material there but it is more of a project than it should be. The entire scenario to receive our first trailer without any introductory training in a parking lot - and take it from there is stressful. I know it cannot be helped in the current situation - but trying to patch together an understanding from a long collection of short videos isn’t the best prep.

You will receive an orientation, otherwise you will need to visit another owner if Chilliwack is not available.

Hi Jim,
The Chilliwack is definitely off limits these days. The delivery is in a parking lot in Sumas, WA. I am sure that the delivery driver will help us - but he/she has multiple deliveries in a day. So, how much orientation we will receive is TBD. My wife and I are planning a day and a half of watching videos after we have successfully driven to a pull-through camping site after the pickup.

This is a useful link to download videos - https://vimeo.com/showcase/escape-orientation-videos This has the orientation videos rather than a mix of sales and orientation videos.
That said - MadCat3 helped me tremendously in easily downloading the videos!

Thank you one and all. This information is invaluable, especially for new owners. My Casita had a controller and that was it.I opted for all of the electronics except Lithium soI am very thankful to be better able to trouble shoot

Kavindra: I have recommended to others to PM someone they trust on the forum and see if they would be willing to give you their phone number. Think of it as free technical support if you can’t get in touch with Escape. I did this for a couple coming across the country with their new Escape 19 to NJ. It was their first RV. We communicated a few times and I helped them work through a few things. Since you have a 5.0 coming it would be ideal if it was a 5.0 owner in case any questions arise related to hitching/towing. Just a thought...

There are orientation videos, there are videos on most everything, look under Owners on the Escape website, and you'll find most of it.
I say most as I couldn't find something the other day! (Location of the toilet shut-off valve.)

Thank you! If things work out, we might meet up with Arnie early on - as we are passing through his neighborhood and would love to meet. That's how far I have got. But, we might follow through on your idea a bit further.
