Missouri License Plates

I know it's somewhere on this site but the search is not helping.

Can someone link the thread for licensing here in Missouri?

I think I need to have the State Patrol do an inspection.

Thanks!

Not needed, tagged mine in February 21.

Have your checkbook ready, good news for you is you’re in a way less taxed county than STL.

I did get a lucky break on my sales tax in another way, due to the way Escape does their paperwork.

So no need to go to the State Patrol for an out of country vehicle inspection?

Nope-I was in and out no problems at all.

I will say if one of the DMV workers were to give you a hard time, over anything. I would say thank you and walk out, then just hit a different location.
I find most of them are actually most helpful, but those few fun ones sure can leave an impression.

I went to the branch on Olive in Olivette. In the past for me the High Ridge branch-1630 Gravois has been even less of a heavy handed government location to deal with, always pleasant workers.

That's great news!

The Imperial location has been pretty good as well.

Good to hear, reading the many troubles some have had with this and worrying about traveling with no tags, just transporting the clean titled just purchased camper to their home does make me appreciate.

Now off to Fast Eddie’s

For those who don't know. Nothing better than a Cold Beer and a Big Elwood on a Stick at Fast Eddie's!

Attractions

I’ve had good luck locating preferred places to eat or drink by asking locals their preferences.
Camp hosts usually know good places too. If you’re looking for a good breakfast spot, ask old people, they get up earlier than the kids.

I don’t hit many restaurants while camping, even fewer during the pandemic. When I’m going to attend a rally I pay attention to posters who are familiar with the area or have been at that rally in previous years.

Many people on the forum contact us over the course of a year for attractions of all kinds in our area. I’m never short on recommendations. One thing that helps is if visitors get somewhat specific in their interests or types of food they prefer.

I had a very good Pork tenderloin at Misty’s in Keosauqua,
Iowa last week. I usually eat there, either breakfast or lunch when I’m in town. Then I go to nearby Cantril to the Dutchman’s Store for a soft serve ice cream cone and some bulk candy.
Shimek State Forest was beautiful that day. Very few primitive campers but a number of equestrians. They have their own campground loops down there.
