Actually, any comment helps keep the thread at the top of the forum, and helps the seller. That's why on many forums, sellers will simply comment 'bump' to move the thread back to the top.

Two questions?

- Is your trailer still available?
- What is the size of the bed?

I'm also located in Portland.

I can attest to this 13B being well-cared for before I sold it and only nonsmokers. Only 9 of these! Someone out there will also Love it.
Hi Jean, Thanks so much! It has been perfect for us and the type of camping we like to do, which tends to be more dispersed camping and dry camping. The trailer certainly has been well taken care of!

Hi TK,

The trailer is still for sale. In fact we are still in Santa Barbara and will only be back to Portland around June 8th. The bed size is comparable to a full/double mattress and I believe the dimensions are approximately 75" by 53". We do have a factory extension to the bed platform that can be used to increase the bed size adding about 20 inches in width.

I’m very interested if you could contact me when arriving in PDX. I live in SW Portland and have flexible schedule to meet wherever. Do you have experience with this unit on dirt & gravel (washboard) roads? Also, any photos with bed extension you mentioned. Would the cabinets be in the way to make it wider?
Thanks,
TK

Hi TK, I will certainly contact you when we get back to PDX. We did a lot of dispersed camping and the trailer does great on forest service roads. I definitely drive slower on dirt/gravel/washboard roads when towing the trailer, but did not run into any issues (other than getting to camp and finding that things we packed in the cabinets shifted around a bit). We did explore some dirt roads that ended unexpectedly at a gate, and turning around can be tricky, even with such a small trailer. If things ever got really tough, this trailer is light enough that you can move it around by hand if the road surface is level and smooth enough.

I don't have any photos with the bed extension in place. The extension is in my garage in PDX, so I can take a photo when I get back. It occupies the space between the kitchen and closet, so the cabinet areas don't actually get wider, just the center area. I believe the idea is that the extension allows you to sleep lengthwise in the trailer vs. sideways, so you don't have to climb over another person to get out of bed. We actually never used the extension, but it seems like a nice option to have. It does block access to some cabinets when it is in place.

Interested in Seeing Your 13B

Aaron,
My wife and I live in Olympia and are interested in seeing your 13B when you are in Portland. We are interested in a small Escape. Can you contact me at my e-mail with information if the trailer is still available?

Thanks,

Ken

Just checking guess you have sold your trailer? If not does the bathroom have a shower? Thanks for the reply Tom.

From the sellers write up in post #1: "The bathroom has a toilet, but there is no shower."

Thank you all for the interest in the 13B. I will be back in Portland on Monday and can answer questions and provide additional photos when I get there. FYI: The trailer does not have a shower or air conditioning.
