2016 Escape 19 ft NEVER USED $32,500 USD, Ferndale, WA

2016 ESCAPE 19’, NEVER USED, with some accessories, $32,500 USD. This was Escape’s display model which was stored in their showroom until it was delivered to me on May 31, 2018 in Sumas, WA. I towed it to my home in Ferndale, WA. It has only been towed 43 miles. The bed has never been slept on, and the stove, shower, toilet, sinks, etc. have never been used. But I did drain out the water that ETI had put in the fresh water tank and I blew air through the system to winterize it. I also put RV antifreeze in the shower drain.
In 2018 I licensed the trailer, purchased a few accessories for it, and made a few improvements. I bought the trailer with the intention of living in it while I had a house and shop built on my land in SE Arizona. But due to a shortage of contractors, it has taken much longer than I expected to get bids and I now realize that it will take more than a few months to have anything built. Plus, I fell off a ladder in Aug. 2018 and almost died, so I wasn’t able to do much for a while. Anyhow, I decided that because I might have to live in a trailer for a year or two, that the 19 ft Escape trailer would be too small. I bought a larger used travel trailer when I was in Arizona a couple of weeks ago, so now I don’t need the Escape trailer.

Licensing the trailer in 2018 cost me $2,377.71, but I have not kept the tabs current since the trailer hasn’t left my property since I bought it. I've also been paying for Good Sam insurance, but I realize I can't pass those costs on to the next owner and I will have to take those losses. I have the free/clear title in hand.

Since the trailer has never been used, I'd like to recover most of what I paid for it plus the cost of accessories (I’m keeping a few accessories for the used trailer in AZ) which is $33,814.52 USD. But because the trailer is a 2016 model I’ll take an additional $888.39 loss, so I’m asking $32,500.00 for the trailer.

The being said, there is one cosmetic issue. Some idiot on the next street over got the bright idea to shoot his/her .45 ACP into the air on July 4th 2018. Luckily no one was killed and the trailer itself was not hit, but the bullet went through the lid of the storage compartment on the front of the trailer. I did my best to patch the hole with a fiberglass repair kit. It does not leak, but it's not pretty either. The patch needs to be sanded and have gel coat applied, or maybe cover it with a groovy decal? Anyhow, I think the improvements I made to the trailer should compensate for this cosmetic issue. PM me if interested.
