For Rent: 2014 Escape 17B $99/night (Boise, Idaho)

I won't be using my escape for a few months so I decided to put it out for rent. So far it's gone out a few times and customers have really liked it!

$99/night or $560/week. I can give 10% off to forum members and a referral link which will give you $50 off your first Outdoorsy rental should you be interested.

This is the trailer:

Good luck in your venture and in spreading the Escape love around to other folks. I hope you give them a referral card for when they decide to buy!!

So far, most rentals have been local people just looking for something small or minivan-friendly, although secretly it may have been unique or nostalgic to some of them, but nobody has told me that yet.

I'm hoping this may help out a potential owner who want to make the trip and just try it out for a week before buying, given it's a days drive from the factory.

Many years ago we wanted to rent a fiberglass trailer to see what it would be like to use one.

We found a fellow in Forest Lake, MN who had bought a used Scamp for $5000.00 so that he could use it when he drove to Alaska up the AlCan Highway. After he returned he decided to rent the trailer out. I think it was about $100.00 a night, with a $300.00 cash damage deposit.

We took it to my brother's house in ND for a family reunion. 500 miles into a 40 mph headwind. When we got home we said "No way is the RV life for us". But over time, the memories mellowed, and we bought an Escape 17 ("The Lark"). A weight distribution hitch and the construction of the Escape trailer made a world of difference for us.

But I am still grateful to the fellow in Forest Lake for letting us try out a fiberglass trailer. good look with your rental business and I hope many of your renters go on to buy trailers.

I love this idea and really wish we could make it happen this summer. Unfortunately, we are too booked out this summer. If you are still doing this next summer I would be interested!

Just wondering if this trailer would be available to rent in April? We are toying with the idea of buying an Escape but would love to try one out first. We live in Boise as well.

Is this trailer for sale or rent?

Is this trailer for sale or rent. It says both in the header to the ad and is in the For Sale part of the forum.

It's for rent. There's no "For Sale", but it does automatically add that. Apologize about that!

A few folks here have rented it any enjoyed their experience immensely.

The discount code for 10% off on Outdoorsy is "EscapeForum" Type that in as a coupon code when you check out.

If you combine that with signing up here:
