2012 Escape Trailer Rally

Hello Everyone,

The 2012 Escape Trailer Rally will be held June 1 & 2 at the Nk'Mip Camprground in Osoyoos, BC. We have 60 sites reserved this year with more available if necessary. Sites will be assigned on arrival based on availability and preference. Handicap or anyone with disabilities will get priority of sites, which they will/should revel when booking. When talking to a Nk’mip Guest Service agent, please let your guests know to imform the agent that they are with the Escape Trailer Group.

The cost is $30/night.

Reservations will open November 1, 2011.

To reserve one of the sites. Please call 1 250 495 7279 or email info@campingosoyoos.com

Once you have made your reservation it is very important that you send an email to info@escapetrailer.com so that I know you have registered. Please include in the email the;
- names of those people attending
- size and year of your trailer
- where you are from.

I will post the itenerary in January.

Speaking of wine....

Last year the we were unprepared for the wine tours and had designated drivers. Does someone from the area want to try to organize a wine tour?

I'm in for a wine tour, never done one before. This year I will not drink as much wine on Friday night, so I feel more into going on a tour on Saturday.
I think it would be great if we went on an organized tour.

We made our reservations November 4, after dropping our Guppy at Escape for its year-end service and winter sleep.

We missed the 2010, so are really looking forward to this!

I know it's a way off but this will be the first Escape Rally we'll be attending and I am wondering about some of the activities.
I know there's a breakfast and /or pot luck dinner but having seen some photos of previous meets, It appeared there were
prizes of some nature given out. Maybe door prizes? Just wanted to know if this is the case so we bring something up with us.

If you're looking at the Nk'Mip Park map in the posting above, the reserved spots are all in the C section, around the clubhouse.
Looking forward to viewing the itinerary - it should be a great time for all especially if you survive my cooking!

Wendy and I will be there - we're not registered yet, but we're down that way for the Half-Corked Half May 27th. Thought it would be a good idea to spend the week before checking out the vineyards.

Hello Everyone,

I have just spoken with Nk'Mip regarding attendees and at this time they have 35 people registered. however, I only have 31 people registered... Please remember if you have registered for the rally to send me an email so that I can add you to my list.

I am trying to remain organized this year so that I get the name tags right this time and do not miss anyone.

I am getting excited about this year's rally...and getting to see everyone again.

I phoned Nk'Mip and gave them my registration information more than a week ago but have not heard from them, so I'm not sure if we're registered yet or not, but we are planning on being there!

If you choose not to go on a wine tour ( I discovered they don't serve beer ) you must visit the Home Hardware in Osoyoos. It's the highlight of my visit. Anything and everything you can possibly imagine. I'm going to stock up on cheap 16" X 11" furnace filters.
