Bluebonnet rally

Thanks Donna for the heads up. We haven't been in Texas since we rode motorcycles all the way across a number of years ago. Then we said been there, done that, but here we go again, an excuse to go somewhere.

3:45am 12/17 - 118 sites reserved. I'm betting all the sites will be reserved by the end of the day! Anyone notice the couple who are the 18th to reserve? Woohoo lucky folks going to the Bluebonnet!

I thought we had the "traveled the furthest" sewn up for the Bluebonnet but Chilliwack is just a tad further. Escapes will be well represented. We need a 17 and a 13 for a complete set.

I was told they know how to make a good steak down there....so I talked to Reace and he said we can take a road trip....Wahooo!!!!

I cannot stress how excited I am to go to Texas, I have always wanted to go and everyone keeps telling me we are going to one of the most beautiful parts of Texas. - I cannot wait.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

I think I can say without a doubt Tammy and Reace will be welcomed with big Texas arms.
Looking forward to seeing ALL my Escape friends at Bluebonnet.
Maybe Donna can swing down next year...

Tammy,
I am having a Texas travel packet sent from the state to your location. It should arrive in the next weeks ahead.

Well, unfortunately reality set in yesterday... after checking in with the company making the 5.0 TA mold, there is still a lot to do. After adding up all the days still involved to complete the mold, get it here, wax it all up and build a part...it will be early April. This does not leave enough time to build the trailer and get it to Texas. We are quite disappointed with the delays, however they really can't rush this part of the project. Even more disappointed to have to cancel the trip...but the timing is just falling apart.

We are very sorry we cannot meet up with everyone as planned, however we are now planning for next year.

Yea, I felt all the folks in Texas deflating. They were so looking forward to meeting you.... Reace and Tammy and seeing a brand new Escape 5.0TA in person. BUT, things happen for a reason! NOW is not the time to rush. And while all the new 5.0TA spots have been spoken for in 2014, those of us on the list... know it's better to wait for perfection than rush to "second best."

I'm TIME adaptable.. I hope all the folks on the list feel the same way.
