Thanks Anna-Marie, at least it's nice to know there's one person who knows I don't look like my goofy avatar

I so wanted to go to this! I figured I could fly into somewhere close, rent a car and stay in a cabin (or something) - BUT.....the next weekend we are leaving Seattle for an Alaskan cruise, and I'm thinking my idea won't fly very well .

I'm afraid I will have to wait until July to get a peak at the new 5. Darn, darn, darn!
Anyone know the July dates?!

I think I'll go have a good cry now!

We are planning on being there. The delivery date for our new 21' is May 22, but we were going to delay that a bit to give things, (that is, the weather), a chance to warm up a bit. By coincidence, it looks like perfect timing for the rally. Then, we plan on taking about three weeks for our return trip to Pensacola.

We don't have our return trip planned yet, but want to see some of our old favorite places, and maybe some new ones - like Glacier NP and maybe even Banff. I was a ranger in Stanley, Idaho in 1973 and would love to see that area again; we would also like to check out how much the Crazy Horse monument has changed. Re-visiting Devil's Tower and Mt. Rushmore are also on our list. So many things to consider, I'm glad we have eight months to plan for it.

Beartooth Highway, according to Charles Kuralt is the prettiest highway in the world, from Red Lodge, Mt down to Yellowstone.

It definitely is a beautiful drive, however the Going to the Sun road through Glacier National Park gets my vote for the prettiest highway.

We would not shun you, but you may have to field the odd jab or two about it. Others have survived okay.

That is a really great highway to drive, but last time I drove it 25 years ago no RV's were allowed.

We were on Going to the Sun last Sept and took a bus tour. And no RVs were allowed. Those roads are pretty darn narrow..
We camped at St Mary in a little spot.
Darn, about Beartooth Highway, we hadn't even heard about it and were in Yellowstone last year too. Just drove in and out the same way then up to Glacier and Waterton Parks.

Nope, not a rumor. With my new 5er due to hatch the end of June... I won't be making the trip at all . I hope my Scamp has found a new home by the Escape Rally and I'll be trailerless for the first time in more than a dozen years. I understand how Jim is feeling..... and I'm not even there yet.

Look out 2015!!

I rode over the Beartooth on my Motorcycle this August (2013). Definately should be on anyones must drive roads. Add the Going To The SUn Road through Glacier NP to that list, also went over that one in August.

Staying with past years we are planning for the first full weekend in June.

June 6 - 8, 2014

I will confirm our reservations in November as this is the earliest they will accept reservations for next year.

Based on last years attendance we will reserve 100 sites throughout the campground with all activities and dinners taking place in the new clubhouse which is located in C-Loop.

If you would like further information on the campground please use the link below and visit their website for a campground map.

I hope everyone is as excited as we are.

Tammy and Reace

Anxious to see the new 5, however our 07, 5.0 is a great unit but a dual axel is appealing. Maybe I can convince my wife!

It will be great to see you there, Jon.

Going to reserve at least the 5-7th, and just figure out from there what I am going to do.
