Not sure the masses can handle the venue shift, Tammy. Probably best to keep this wine consumption happening at your site.

Though, it is not the trailer site that makes it fun, it is all to good folks.

My bad. That is what happens when you pull into the county rodeo grounds / campground late at night, and get anxious about securing a spot. i am really looking forward to the wine tour!

I hadn't thought about it that way, but I think you're right I've just found wineries to be in some of the most beautiful places. And someone else is going to drive me. As a typically lone traveler, that's neato!

So what, you are going to go along just for the fun, and ruin it for all us serious winos?

Yeah, I'm good with that.

Jim.....A true wino doesn't visit wineries and drink from stemware. A true wino drinks straight from the bottle, which is wrapped in a brown paper bag. Just wanted to clarify that!

Don't forget that a true wino also drinks from a screw cap bottle, no fancy cork puller required!.

Lots of the better wines now actually use a screw top. It is not limited to just us winos any more.

I'm seeing more and more screw tops when I shop for wine. Also saw a documentary about where the majority of the world's cork is grown. Quite unique trees. Was interesting. Didn't really think much about where the cork comes from. There are also man made corks and they work well, but given the choice, I prefer a natural cork in my bottle though.

Did anyone else grow up with a couple of winos wandering the neighborhood? Interesting characters to say the least. As kids, we named them. Bob the Wino and "Port Stickle" also known as Stick Daddy. They were legendary in our neighborhood.

Are all seats taken for the wine tour-the shorter one? If not Duke Armendariz and Beverlee Niskanen would like to go.

We were in Australia & New Zealand earlier this year and pretty much everything coming from those wineries is screw top now.

Just to add that I have done this wine tour the last couple years. Whether or not you are a big wine fan, it still is a whole lot of fun.
