The Peace Bridge is in Buffalo; I don't know how there could be a crossing south of that and not be in Lake Erie.

The Peace Bridge is located near the center of downtown Buffalo, New York, and Fort Erie, Ontario, where it crosses the Niagara River. The Peace Bridge is one of four vehicular toll crossings over the Niagara River in the region. The other three crossings are the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge and the Rainbow Bridge, which are owned and operated by the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission and are located roughly 20 highway miles north of the Peace Bridge. Of the four bridges, the Peace Bridge and Lewiston-Queenston Bridge carry a greater percentage of vehicles with non-local destinations because of their connections to major arterials. Consequently, there is a greater amount of commercial traffic on the Peace Bridge and the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge.

The main approaches to the Peace Bridge on the United States side are the New York State Thruway (I-190) and Porter Avenue, a four-lane arterial.

The Peace Bridge is the southern most and connects to Queen Elizabeth Parkway and the CG, Riverside is exit #12.

Right, as the Peace Bridge fact page goes on to say:

On the Canadian side, the principal approach highways are the Queen Elizabeth Way (“QEW”), a four-lane controlled-access highway, Highway 3, a regional four-lane highway and the Niagara Parkway.

Whatever exit is best, the Peace Bridge is in the middle of Buffalo, which is on Lake Erie at the south (upstream) end of the Niagara River.

Hi everyone,

A couple weekends ago I crossed over to the USA at the Peace bridge on a Saturday Morning and I had a 30 minute wait time. Returning back to Canada at around 6PM I had a 45 minute wait.

Wait times at the Niagara bridges can be a real pain, so check this web site: Traffic Conditions for the 3 bridges you can use. (The whirlpool bridge appears to be for NEXUS users only)

One of my stops in the USA that day was Camping World in Hamburg NY, which is not far, about 10 miles, from the peace bridge and easy to get to.

Since we have to be moving east for another engagement we have just signed up for this rally....we will be in site #31 just a little bit away from the major center of activities (because that's what happens when you wait till the last minute to decide.) Mis-Adventure will be quite road savvy (and dirty) by this leg of the trip at quite likely over 10K miles on her maiden Madventure at the point we enter the park.

I see Alf is in #52, so we'll check by there when we come in.

Looking forward to making new friends and maybe seeing some familiar faces.

Yes the Riverside Park Motel and Camp Ground Riverside Park Campground and Motel Niagara Falls Ontario Canada is just a few yards north along The Niagara Parkway off the east end of Netherby Rd (Exit 12) on the QEW. Not too far from the Peace Bridge in Buffalo/ Ft. Erie. Alf

You might see some chucks but more likely those striped kittens in black and white. With all the irrigated turf up around the falls there's plenty of subturenean delicacies and old Pepe is there to get them
