I will be there Friday afternoon. I washed the trailer and awning today so I wouldn't be too embarassed!

I read her the post and she laughed at me and told me my whole life has been a fantasy and reminded me how far I married up. Walter Mitty she called me.

Hi, We are considering an Escape purchase and plan to visit the 2018 Mississippi River Rendezvous Saturday for the tours. I see from posts on this forum that the attendees have extended invitations to interested parties. Thanks to all.

I had to teach a class until 8:00 tonight but we're all packed up now.

At 10:00 I was almost done loading when Katrina saw me browsing on my phone. She asked me what I had left to do and I told her I was done but checking last years MRR thread to double check what size socket we needed for the torque competition.
That earned me a good eye roll.

I'll drag the camper to work tomorrow so I can pick Kat up from work and get on the road ASAP. Just have to hook up in the morning and make it through a day at work while the camper sits outside my window taunting me all day.

Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

We got up before 6:00 AM today hoping for our first Iowa Dave sighting
We have not spied him jogging around the campgrounds so all we can figure is we got up too late . I hope he shows up for breakfast or we will have a lot of leftovers
We heard he has the appetite of a bear after his long morning run so we are counting on him
Breakfast is at 9:00 AM

You will always get Iowa Dave with the scent of some Spam on the griddle, or any type of meat product.....he will come around once he gets a whiff....

Hey Ralph, I’m interested in the dinette if you have it loaded up with treats. An interesting bird is the Pelican, his beak holds more than his bellycan. Night feeder dead center

All sizes and vintages now available for viewing

For prospective owners/visitors:

There are presently a 15’, 17’, 19’ 21’ and 5.0 TAs here and more expected today. New models and Classics. It looks like the entire 33 site loop will be all Escapes, and overflow of at least 6 others, already.

If it suits anyone looking at Escapes to come today, rather than Saturday, come on down.
Just tell anyone you see that you’d like to look, and you will be welcomed, likely with a warm handshake and a cold beverage.

Cold Beverage for sure. Ice sales are off 90% in Thomson because it’s 55 degrees out here with a 22 mph wind out of the NW. beer is cooling just setting outside. The only mosquitos flying are the B-29 species with 4 sets of wings. Fool and wool are only one letter but a world apart.

Boy Dave, you hit the nail on the head with your synopsis of this morning at the rally. I might need to calculate the wind chill factor.
