So glad to have you back on the forum Jim. You will be missed at the Mississippi get together this year (Thomson IL COE). We are hopeful we can all be traveling again next year. We plan to see you at the Osoyoos Rally next spring!

We have been on the road for two months and decided we need to be home for a while. We have cancelled our reservation at Thompson.
Site 63 on the PMAN section should be available.
We will miss all the folks we have met at this rally. See you in 2021.

Hi Bob
We decided to opt out this year too. Hope see you good folks next year. Hopefully the campers this year will be high and dry with warm days, cool nights and a light breeze to keep the mosquitoes grounded.

Jim,

Glad to hear you are up and about.

The last two weekends we have had first time viewers come see our 21'. Someone has to take up the slack while you get better.

I was late getting a reservation and took site 118 in the loop we were in last year. Well I'm also late canceling. Finally got my solar installed and wanted to show off a little. Hope we can all see each other next year. Everyone stay well.

Great, glad to see an addition to our group.

We will be meandering towards Georgia after the rally. We have a granddaughter and her husband there. He is in the Air Force stationed in Warner Robbins, GA.

Have a good trip Ronn. We won't be heading back to GA even after the border opens. Our daughter and family moved to Fort Leavenworth in July. We could get there in 12 hours driving, that is if we were allowed to drive directly south from our town. Hopefully in the winter even if we have to fly

Thanks Adrian, you'll be missed at the Mississippi get together.

Glad to hear your daughter and family will be closer for you. We are hoping we get back to normal sooner vs later.

I understand the cancellations

Weather during this rendezvous looks to be swell. Predictions are hard to make, especially about the future, but no deluges forecast, unlike last year.

We intend to attend at Thomson. Social distancing, being outdoors, camping in self contained rigs, that is all pretty low on my risk scale.

Don't believe me. Study this chart.

See item #5, from the top.

Ask...and you shall receive, someday, maybe.

Last Winter Iowa Dave suggested I build a cheese cutting board with drink holder capability. We argued over the size and type of bottle holder capability.

Well, I did laboriously design, whittle and create the "WINDSOR TRAY". No expense in time, money or effort was spared. I was going to off-load it to Dave at the rendezvous, but alas, not this year. I shall keep it in dry storage until we meet again, promising to Pledge it monthly to keep it tip-top.

Notice the thoughtful and elegant ability to use the tray back for convenient carrying. Spill resistant polymer finishes. Refreshments and condiments not included.

Due to family opportunities (our son's family visiting before deployment overseas), we will be unable to attend this year but look forward to 2021. Site 62 available.

I like it. What if one were a wine drinker like myself?

Those 750ml bottles come in a bit different sizes (I know because they do not play nicely when I put them in my wine refrigerator).
