Martha and I, like you, split up our trips to allow us to be refreshed on not rushed. This is a very nice rally and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

about one more hour for us and certainly doable in a day, it may be the only rally held this year on the other side of the Big "M"

Just booked 40 and 41 for my sister and I. I'll get my 5.0 in June... and she has a Tab teardrop. I am hoping by September that I will have had a chance to get some practice with backing into a spot. I came to this rendezvous a few years back and it was my first chance to check out an escape trailer.

That’s a nice site you picked. I’m sure you will like the area. Lots of birds. A couple good grocery stores just across the river in Clinton Iowa if you need anything in that vein.

Thanks Dave! I'm pretty excited about this adventure! I live about 35 minutes away from this campground. I have been on the bike trail that runs from Fulton, Il to Thomson, but I've never camped at this campground. Can't wait to meet everyone! See you there.

Hi Johnny,
Glad to see you’ll be attending. Hope I can count on you as backup when I present some little known facts that some people, at times, have labeled as B.S. you’ll be a seasoned camper by then for sure. Best of luck, see you in September if not before.

So excited to see everyone again!
We're all the way out at the end of the loop in Site 59.

We'll be enjoying today getting the camper de-winterized and ready to go.
Our camping season kicks off next weekend at Devil's Lake State Park (Wisconsin).

Site 38

We'll be in #38 with 'ner-do-well dog Wiley.

As to things to see, I'd highly recommend this in Clinton, just across the river.

https://www.eicc.edu/about-eicc/coll...upt/index.aspx

Incredible city arboretum, award winning, and plants that look like they came from another planet. Been there once, it's free, but last Fall it was closed as a summer derecho nuked it pretty good. Early Fall, and things will still be in bloom.

Poking about in the river towns either side of the river is entertaining.
There's a Dutch windmill to see on the way to Clinton. A real deal windmill.

Do some internet searches for more.
