We so enjoyed our visit last year that we’ve reserved site 42 for this year’s rally. Looking forward to it!

Gonna miss all of you
Wow, the way things change! After years of our kids bugging us to move to the Seattle area, we pulled the trigger this year and bought a house on Lake Tapps in Bonney Lake, WA. The movers come August 3 to pack us up and move West. It has been a hectic few months selling our condo and house, packing and figuring out how we get all our stuff (boat, PWC, Escape) to the Pacific Northwest.
Unfortunately, this messes up our plans to attend the MS River Rendezvous. This was our first rally in an Escape back in 2017 and we have attended multiple times, always having a great time. We will miss meeting up with all the Midwest Escapees we have met over the years.
We have cancelled our reservations, so site 061 is available.
However, on the plus side, we will be 40 minutes from our 4 kids and 6 grandchildren. In addition, there are plenty of Escapes in the PNW and many rallys to consider.
Safe travels.

Hi Bob,
Hey, you get a pass for this year but we expect to see you next year. Several of your Mississippi River Escapee acquaintances routinely drive a couple thousand miles for a good rally. Site 61 is a real nice site but not even in the league with how nice the people offering it up are.
Bob and Katie, all he best to you. The grandchild magnet is the strongest pull I’ve ever experienced.

Sorry Bob and Katie that you cannot now make it, best of luck on your move, hopefully you can get to Osoyoos. But thanks for canceling that reservation. It's now booked for us! Now we just have to hope that Turdeau lets us go!

Best to you, Bob and Katie! I will miss seeing you this fall at the rally. Wishing you many wonderful adventures ahead with your family. Maybe the PNW will cool down by the time you get there.

Sure but I'd rather you spelled it Turdeau like my "spelling error." Just kidding, that would be great Dave, hi to Rita, hopefully we'll be there with bells on.

But as poorly as our education funding has been in Iowa for the last few years I don’t hold out much hope for the state that used to have the highest literacy rate in the Union at one time.

Thanks for the pass, Dave. We will try to get through the area next year. We have the whole Northeast we want to tour, so, with proper planning we could make it happen. We also have relatives in Wisconsin, so this is in vicinity.
Glad you could use the site, Adrian. Hope you make it.. We will definitely plan on Osoyoos next year.
Thanks to all for the good wishes.

Free beer at Fudge Brownie’s site.

I can remember, only a few short years ago, at the rally. I ventured over to Thor’s site. Lo and behold there was skunky beer hiding everywhere. On the windows, fence posts and even car windows had bottles of beer. How disgusting.
Speaking of adult beverages. I think the Friday get acquainted event would be a good activity. Maybe this year everyone will have to bring their own snacks and beverage, no sharing?

Paul I think you've got the wrong thread maybe a mod can move to the Mississippi River Rendezvous one. Our new David in Iowa must be wondering? Oh now I see your "free beer" at your site" comment is on this thread. I guess I'm just still excited on seeing an Escape in my own town!

Let’s not dwell on some of us who may have a little beer problem. (Not enough ice)
Meet and greet remains

Let me know when you’re coming and I’ll bring some along. Like camping styles there’s no wrong answer.
Personally I only drink two kinds of beer: cold and free. And I only drink two: the first one and the last one.
Have a safe and sane Fourth of July as they used to say. Be careful around those cherry bombs, silver salutes and M80s.

Looks like PMAN is booked up. Is PMAS preferable to the Hickory Point loop? I couldn't locate the "Stone" Shelter on the maps. Thanks!

If my memory serves me (and I sometimes doubt it) PMAS is better, it is a short walk through the tent area to PMAN and the opposite direction a nice walk or short drive to the shelter. Make your reservation if you can and come on to the rally.
