2022, April 21-24: Spring NOG - Northern Oregon Gathering

April 21-24, 2022 - Champoeg State Heritage Park (30 miles southwest of Portland)

It's back to Champoeg for another go. The last NOG here was in 2014.

We'll fill in details about the doin's when we get closer to April.

There are only 75 RV sites total in the whole park. Keep that in mind. IF you delay too long, all the sites may be reserved.

Remember the six month reservation window. IF you want to camp starting on the FIRST day of NOG... April 21, you can make your reservation starting TOMORROW (Oct 21). Coming early? You can make your reservation NOW!

Once you've made your reservation, please post. IF your information isn't in your profile, please send me a PM with this information. I need it for the participants list:
First names of adults attending
Domicile city and state (you may meet neighbors!)
Year/Length/Make/Model of your 'trailer'
Site number

Donna, please add us to the Spring NOG. I’m ADA so we got one of the two ADA sites (one still remains if anyone else is ADA, by phone reservation only). We’ll be in B-18 with the new “2022” 21C and it’ll be one of our earliest trips in it. John and Harriet, Hillsboro.

You're in spot 5. But it's not unusual for several people to drop out of the list when personal circumstances change.

Have you signed up on the Champoeg State Park page to be notified if a site opens due to a cancellation? After all, we haven't taken over the ENTIRE park and wouldn't know if a non-NOGger cancels.

I see that one couple are going to be in three different sites over the three nights. So that’s encouraging that maybe if there are no 3-night spots available, perhaps you can get three separate reservations?

Edit to add: currently there is one site available Thursday night, and a different one Saturday night. None for Friday at this time. Some tent sites are available through the whole time.

Tent sites really are tent sites in Champoeg. Walk-in sites with a communal parking area.

What’s wrong with tents in April? (Kidding!!)

There are yurts and cabins if someone wanted to come and join but without their own trailer. Not sure what’s available. In 2020 the cabins were closed "for the pandemic".

Thank you! I’ll take a look and maybe book a night. See, I’ve been reading all the things the people on this forum write, and I feel like a know a few of them. I guess I should write more so they can know me.

We booked site A35 for Wednesday and Thursday nights. So I’m still looking for a spot for Friday night, if one becomes available.
