2023 Western Winter Blast

For those interested in attending the 2023 Western Winter Blast week of fireworks in Lake Havasu City February 13 - 20th, the deadline for a spot in the Fiberglass area is March 1, 2022. $250.00 for the week - dry camping in a parking lot that overlooks the nightly fireworks. There are showers and water stations in the park.

Register on line at Havasu Rodeo. Use the Fireworks menu to register and be sure to put Fiberglass in the group box.

While it is possible to register after March 1st, you may not be able to get a space in the Fiberglass group. The campground sells out most years by early summer.

Man made thunder and lightning with colored lights in the sky. Reads like a thunderstorm with the northern lights mixed in. Sounds like a forecast to me.

My forecast is long range but starts today. Red and Juicy with a hint of tartness accompanied by bacon and lettuce. Improved from one of my favorites, Celebrity.

I just received a notice from Sandi, the activity coordinator for the SARA Park Fairgrounds that there are 14 registered trailers in the Fiberglass group for the 2023 Fireworks week. We will be in F1 - F7 & G1 - G6. She will leave a few nearby sites open for us as long as she can, so if you are still interested in joining the group, register at Havasu Rodeo & put "Fiberglass" in the group box.
