Anyone Interested in an Escape Rally?

Hello Everyone,

I am just curious...if Reace and I plan an Escape rally for the end of May maybe the first week of June, say somewhere near Merritt, would anyone be interested in coming?Other fiberglass trailer owners are more than welcome to attend. I am just beginning to look at campgrounds in the area but before I call anyone I would like to have a rough idea of the number of people who might be interested in coming.

I am thinking some wine, s'mores, potluck dinner ... and a great big campfire

Depending on the response I get, I will post more ideas/thoughts.

This sounds wonderful! If it would be closer to the Midwest, my daughter and I would be in, but as is the distance is too big for the little vacation I get... Maybe some day we start a rally here in this area, who knows...! :

Looks like that is my stretch to work weekends--from the middle of May until the weekend of the 19 of June I am working at least one day of the weekend...

We would be interested for sure! But would need more details as we need to book out holidays. Have you checked out Logan lake Municipal campground? Nice place with, or without hookups.

Speaking of Logan Lake, buddy Keath and I have spent many a May long weekend in Logan Lake, sheltering in the pub, as the wind, rain and snow pummel the landscape. Can't remember one trip that time of year where the weather cooperated.

We have twice stayed at Moon Shadows just outside of Merritt on the Cold Water river. (First pic). Make sure you have a pressure reduction valve for your water. Not sure how many full hook-up sites, but it's quite a large, yet well treed campground. Five minutes to the nearest latte.

Second pic is Harmon Lake in the Kane Lakes chain, about half an hour to Merritt. No services. We've stayed there several times.

Last weekend in May, Sat. 29, Sun. 30 includes Memorial Day, Monday May 31 which might make it easier for U.S. Escapees to attend. Weekend before that is May 22, 23, 24 ( Victoria Day in Canada ) and likely to accommodate sled dogs.

Picking up our Escape 17B the week of May 10th. Not sure if we can hang arround BC until month end.....need to start heading back to PEI. Sure is a great thought and we will keep it in mind.
