BC Rally June 17-19th

If you are doing some local camping in BC to make sure everything works…there is the BC Egg fibreglass rally on the weekend of June 17 - 19

Eggscape, thanks for this. Where is the BC rally? We will be down in the Gulf Islands on our sailboat for the month. If it’s not far we might be able to make it

It is at Camp Hope which is a few minutes out of Hope BC and 35 mins from Escape Industries.

It is also a great event for people that are picking up their new trailer as it gives them a chance to check things out not to far away from the Mother ship. Lots of spots to camp…reservations not mandatory.

I was at that rally, at least I think it was the same one, I went to in Fort Langley in 2009, the day of picking up my 19.

The rally is in a much nicer camp ground than the Facebook page shows or that you went to in the past Jim.

It is a huge camp ground that is next to empty that time of year. The Fiberglass group has an entire upper level area at the rear of the complex. All spots have 15 amp power with a few 30 amps available.

On arrival you follow the event signs to the area and pick your spot. Then once you are satisfied with it, you go to the complex office to pay for the weekend. If I remember correctly it was reasonably priced. The host of the rally has a $5 fee for the event and it is good to let her know on the Facebook page that you hope to be there.

We got there early one year so we could visit friends nearby. Here are a few pictures of the grass camping area.

So no reservations…if you can make it great…there is plenty of room. Hope to see you there.

That looks and sounds great, Ed. Timing this year work with me working hard on my forever home is not great, as this is a very big project. When I am done working........really!

I would definitely plan to come in the future.

Is that Marina with the Biggar trailer that is hosting it?

It works world be great to be able to visit with Reace and Tammy if in that area too.
