Bikes at Osoyoos Rally

We’re looking forward to our first Osoyoos Rally this May and are wondering if we should bring our bikes? Do we need them to get around the campground or to get to events? Or to get around the Osoyoos area? Thank you in advance for your thoughts…

Stay safe, stay healthy,
Doug

While not needed bikes are always a good thing to bring. Faster getting around and you can go further, like into town.

I think this is a good video to show people that have not been to the rally before, a good idea of the area…with subtitles.

We always carry our bikes in Canada and the US so you'll see these two hard to miss green bikes at Osoyoos.

Can't bring my blue bike because it's a little large to carry on a rack and my wife didn't smile when I said how about I ride the bike to Osoyoos and you can take the truck and trailer.

Your blue bike might be a little too heavy for the average bike rack!? But that's just an engineering challenge... I don't think the Escape frame would handle it so maybe on the front of your TV? Or in the bed with a high canopy?

Although your wife's reaction, which would be my wife's as well, is the ultimate determinate...!

Looking forward to meeting you in person soon.

Also love your car. A friend of mine ran a Super Seven for many years, and now has a Westfield Eleven.

Thanks for that tip, looks like fun, here's a webpage I found with a 'zoom-able' map of the biking trail in the Osoyoos area / close to the NK'MIP campground

Kettle Valley Trail, BC, Canada (bikemap.net)
