sites 18/19 are not available, they belong to the cg host and/or permanent residents. C18 and C19 would be Jim's sites...

Great! We will be neighbours again as we were in Winnipeg...my wife and I are looking forward to the Rally even more now...if that’s possible.

And David's too then.

He booked them.

I hope you asked for C18 and C19, not 18 and 19. Just wanted to alert you in case.

No, David was very clear on where the sites were, just not on the full name.

Dagnabbit, I was going to try to attend this year, but I got lucky and made it into the Smokies campground during synchronized firefly season next year...

Down near Elkmont? I thought it was later in June?

Elkmont it is, they’re typically the last week or so of May. Getting into the campground is hard enough, they now have a lottery for the guided tours. The fireflies don’t care, they light up wherever they are, not just where the tour goes!

I finally made our reservations today by phone, which is what I recommend that you do. I submitted 2 separate reservations on-line using their website over the last couple of weeks and also sent them an email a few days ago. All of them went unanswered..... Only took a few minutes by phone and they were very pleasant.

Just booked out site for the rally. Last year we missed the trailer tours on Saturday because we were on a wine tour so looking forward to seeing some new ideas. This will be our first couple nights out on our way to Newfoundland so we'll be dragging lots of stuff. Hope those flies are earlier in the season this year!

I asked Escape in my comments if the open house for trailers was planned this year as it was not on the activity list when I signed up.
Someone new to the event may miss it if they do another activity.
Hopefully they have updated the list to include the open house.

I have found after being there 4 times that some people will stop over at any time, particularly if you unit is a newer one. Morning, evening any time, and if my door is open I'll be glad to chat about the Escape.

Hi Jim
With the old beater Escape we have nobody stops by and I rarely get to talk to anyone. It’s so sad.

It's not the trailer but the occupants, I stopped down last year to see you, didn't I?
