Escape Rally, 2020

Just heard back from Karl...

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the heads up. We are indeed returning to Nk'Mip next year, and I have some grand plans to take it to the next level. We will post something on the forum early next week. Feel free to post if you wish.

Karl

Is there another thread with what was to be posted " early next week" which would have been early last week?

I am planning to keep my feet on the ground prior to the rally next year. Jasper and I don't want to miss another one.

Yeah, no kidding! I was waxing Ten Forward this morning and only fell off the ladder once... true story. Fortunately I landed on my feet and it didn't hurt... unlike the last time! I need to buy ladders with safety belts.

Hi all. The 2020 Escape Canadian Rally will be back at Nk'Mip again and at the same time of year. More to come in November as we finalize plans. We have already reserved 180 sites with the campground.

"Escape Canadian Rally". Is it possible that there may be an Escape USA Rally sometime in the future?

Well done picking up the Canadian part. A USA rally is a sure thing..

I'm going to the rally in Pineknot this year to scout out the Texas hill country area for 2020.

Texas hill country - we'll be there! In fact, we're already here!

That could be interesting. 180 sites reserved for Canada rally and 12 show up. I expect it will take a while to work out how many are going to book which rally when a US rally is added.

In 2019 it was May 24, 25, 26.

Guessing May 29,30,31 in 2020.
A US rally in Texas would likely be during northern winter.

That would be terrific, as attending both would then be possible! 🍁🤠🍁

Don't take me as an authority on anything. I'm just guessing.
