The sani dumps along the exit/entrance way down by the office. Since most sites are full hook ups, there are not too many customers down there.

If you are in fact in C43. That’s the site we had in 2015. I really liked that site. Close enough to the restrooms and showers and the recreation hall, sites are flat and level Plenty long and easy to get into. Also you’re looking down on the registration building and it’s enjoyable to watch all the rigs come in. Was to me anyway. We had very nice neighbors that year too. Never had a problem with any Escape owners at Osoyoos. People have been real nice.

A big change in plans for us. We were planning a Maritimes trip in Aug-Sep but have just been invited to a wedding in California in June so.... have just booked for the rally, waiting confirmation email from the park then will register with Escape. Getting excited!

I think the 'wife', Noelia and the dog (which oddly has a resemblance to Jim) was worth the drop by.

We took our Casita through the Maritimes in 2018 May/June. Absolutely fabulous. You will need to resked. Took the overnight ferry to the far end of New Findland and camped back across. We are contemplating leaving rally and crossing Canada to at least Nova Scotia on the way back home.

Thanks for this and congratulations on your upcoming 5.0TA. We do know the Maritimes a bit. I lived in NS between ages 3-8, had a quick weekend there in 2010. Beth went to her aunt's memorial service last year in NB, and we'd been there on visits before, but at St. Andrews barely into NB from Maine. We really want to see PEI.

We'll get there perhaps next year, but couldn't resist doing the west with the wedding invite and taking in the rally. Also will likely be going to Kansas City area late June (daughter and family moving there) so I just booked four nights at the Grand Canyon.

Coast to coast this year. Now we're on way way to GA and FL. On edit - I see you're in Wake Forest, our daughter's eldest daughter now six was born in Chapel Hill while our son-in-law served at Fort Bragg.

See you at the rally!

Speaking of things to do in Osoyoos, has anyone visited the Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad?

Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad

It's touted as Canada's largest Marklin lay-out, with up to 45 computer controlled trains running through very detailed landscaping with European style towns and houses.

Any other model railroad fans out there?

I have always had a Lionel train setup and until recently had one in the basement on 2 4x8 plywood sheets. Going to visit this one next trip to Osoyoos. If you ever get to Pennsylvania, there is a town called Strasburg where you can ride as well visit the National Toy Train Museum

We visited the Cherry Crest Adventure Farm which is sort of halfway between Strasburg and Paradise. The Strasburg Railroad is the oldest continually operating rail line in the Western Hemisphere. Or so it is claimed. The track is adjacent to the Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. It was pretty funny but when we were there a Canadian folk singer was on stage when the dinner train came by. She got drowned out when it made passed by on its way to Paradise and on its way back. She was prepared though when the train was coming back through. She played a recording of Johnny Cash's song ' I hear the train a comin'
It's rollin' 'round the bend...'

We did the trifecta of Strasburg, The Red Caboose Motel and Cherry Crest last summer with the granddaughters. Great times!

If your a steam train lover, then the Kettle Valley Steam Train is well worth the ride. There are two runs on Saturday but you would miss Rally time and the open house. Best to check it out on your way by on Sunday when they also have two runs. The parking lot is large but you might want to get there a little early for easy parking.
Also reservations would be advised.

I just talked w/ Nk Mip campground this morning. If you're waiting for a refund, they need your credit card # to make it. So... Give 'em a call or shoot 'em an email so they can process the refund for you.
