I also received an acknowledgment from the campground but nothing from Escape. I’m hoping that after the registration is complete they post a list of all the attendees with names and site numbers.

Same here. Campground reservation, but nothing from ETI. I even confirmed again on the ETI site in case my first one didn’t take. No response either time. Hope they don’t count us twice.

Sounds like a good question to ask for one of their monthly Escape videos.
Will the people that registered with Escape be acknowledged that they did so and will they get a list of other participants names, trailer type and home town.

Gad, it's February and everyone is concerned about who's showing up the end of May? I wouldn't expect ETI to send out rally participants list until a week or two before the event. And do you really need it before then? No. I remember how hard it was for Tammy to keep up with it with people being added and others cancelling. Make this easy for those putting on an event that's free for you to attend....

Well there was a price for admission.
I'm old fashioned. When I send something like a registration off I'd like a simple "Thanks for registering, fully details will be provided......". Still the old yesterday response of "I wonder if they got it. Should I send it again."

Yeah, there IS that . I don't expect anyone will hear until after this date: " March 25th is the last day we can hold our campsite reservations!"

That's not old fashioned, that's current common courtesy and good business practice easily facilitated by automated response, to the benefit of both parties. - The sender knows they successfully registered
- The recipient enjoys fewer time-consuming follow-up inquiries, reduced redundant submissions, and good will

The ETI web page could easily have been set up to shoot back a confirmation of receipt of the submission to ETI. Wouldn’t have required a human to lift a finger. Common courtesy is not as common as it used to be.

Instead of telling about it here, especially talking about how it could easily be setup, how about if you contact ETI and let them know? It's doubtful anyone at ETI even bothers to read the EscapeForum so your words have no impact to them here.

It would be a full time job for someone to follow all the forums.

Just about, especially when trying to run a business too. It's just really important for those who make statements here realize ETI isn't reading any of it and honestly complaints go no where.

Sounds like the “off limits” list should be expanded to include any observations that moderators find useless.

Be nice.
I'll reiterate. "Instead of telling about it here, especially talking about how it could easily be setup, how about if you contact ETI and let them know? It's doubtful anyone at ETI even bothers to read the EscapeForum so your words have no impact to them here."
I realize a lot of people need to vent, but once again.... it's important everyone remember ETI probably doesn't read this forum.

I did exactly that in an email to Karl some weeks ago, sent upon receipt of an ETI newsletter reminding folks to register for the rally, pointing out I thought I'd done so but had received no acknowledgment of that effort which would have been appreciated.
The reply from staff acknowledged both my registration and my suggestion.

I think that renewing my earlier decision to stop wasting time here is in order.

"Excellent" would be earned by ETI taking remedial action to notify all folks who have registered of receipt of those registrations.
ETI obviously has the email list from the registrations, and they obviously know how to set up an email blast to an email list (they've done them many times for promotional purposes).
Member posts in this thread yesterday and today make it clear that has not happened as of this date.

Such optimism.
I'm still reading up on Molotov cocktails.
