Thanks, I tried that but it didn't work and listed multiple reasons why. Way beyond my pay grade so I resorted to a down and dirty bypass. Hopefully by the rally I'll have it figured out.

Don't why I have two Northern Girls.

OK, looking at the photos before posting I can see a couple of commas that I didn't delete. Maybe that's the problem.

Unfortunately, Noelia and myself will not be making the 6,000 mile trek next month, due to my health! I have tried to "gift" my paid spot to G&W Becker.....without much luck!

Sorry to hear that Jim. I hope that you'll be able to get out and enjoy more local camping.

Added you Chris.

Thanks so much for doing this! We are in site 52. There are two Northern Girls because I canceled the previous spot in 342

Looking forward to meeting everyone. I was hoping we weren't all spread out everywhere, but it does look like we're not together

As far as a rally name, I’ll go with, “Escape Rally in the Okanogan Valley.”

Have a great time either camping or rally camping in 2023, just go. That’s my advice. Not that anyone listens to me.

Thanks for clearing that up. I made the change.

I'm not sure that the rally has ever been able to group everyone in the same area. The reality is that everyone is spread out and the distance from the top beach area to the outer reaches of the large area is considerable and there are probably lots of folks who don't pass by all the sites. The list though will give a person the ability to head to certain area if there's someone they'd like to touch base with. That's the hope anyway.

Unfortunately Jim, we won't be able to make the trip either - but here's a couple oldies but goodies from a few years back...

Potlucks.

Escape HQ lists a potluck dinner and a potluck breakfast as part of the schedule. Is there a signup for this? We are happy to bring for both, and it would be good to know what to contribute.

I believe that at some point there is a sign-up but I don't remember at what point. Somehow it all seems to work out really well.

Last year ETI had the caterer provide so much pulled pork that some went to the potluck and some was enjoyed on the road by those that brought containers over afterwards.

Yesterday ETI sent out an email to all registered folks. It asks people to indicate what events they want to participate in including events and helping out.

It also gives folks the chance to opt in or out to be on the list of participants and their campsite numbers.

So, if you haven't received the email check your span filter or contact ETI.

Great, what always amazes me about potlucks is how well they work out.

We are staying till Tuesday. Did not want to drive on Memorial Day,
And this will be our only trip across the border this year.

We will be in eastern WA fishing for a week before rally and for two weeks after the rally. Than back home to mow the lawn.LOL

Less than a week away from heading towards the Rally. We will be leaving Monday to fish in Eastern Wa , as we slowly creep up on the border.

See ya on the road. Should be fun seeing all the Escapes heading that way.

Be safe

Start our journey tomorrow, Thurs. Yankton COE in NE Thur, Badlands Fri nite, Brewery in Billings 4 Sat, Holland Lake north of Missoula Sun, Grand Coulee WA Mon nite, then we go to Coltus Prov Park Tues nite and visit factory in Chilliwack Wed morn b4 hitting the Rally site. Start heading back to IA Mon thru CAN 1st, Memorial Day no worry then (will b Mon p.m.). Haven't made definite plans, hope to get some advice on that from Rally-goers to decide on border crossing point/day. Wasn't a problem booking weekday sites even just a couple weeks ago so don't expect much after MemDay. Have Harvest Hosts or Cabellas or city/cty sites, etc.... as backup. Looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone as 1st timers. Escape 19 will b 1yo in June! Many mods already thanks to this forum.... CYA!!
