Escape Rally in the Valley, 2023

We had to miss this years dinner due to having to leave earlier than expected. Noelia's sister had flown east to help with the driving and we had to return her to California on our way home, thus adding at least another day to our return. But there is always "next year".....

It seems that our entry into the name contest has us winning 3 nights camping at Osoyoos next May....we may have take advantage of that......

Antone else having trouble booking for this? 122 sites left now (124 when I started 20mins ago), but when I click Next after setting site details, it tells me my reservation must end by April 30, 2023!?! Have left message with Nk'mip, which was another long wait to ring thru to answering machine. Strange....

On Nk'Mip's Facebook page, the host posted a video on October 20 saying that the summer reservations will be opened on NOVEMBER 15. So I suspect that is when we will be able to book sites for the Rally.

I would hope that they are not allowing people to book for that rally time slot so that us attending the event can book altogether. Last year there were many non rally campers mixed in prime rally spots and rally people far far way from the event. Usually there is a date that Escape announces when we can book.

If you have never been there, I highly recommend attending. It is one of the prettiest cg there are. It is very large and I always bring a bike to get around.....

Did get a callback this afternoon and we're booked! Didn't say why the error, didn't ask. Go old school of any issues. On refreshing their webpage, it indicated 114 sites left for that date....

That is an interesting number as last year Escape started out the new year by holding 180 sites for the rally. I would think that number would not include the rally sites. The camp ground has a total of 423 sites with a number of trailers left there all year long.

The breakdown in my mind at this time for that weekend would be:

114 general camper sites
180 Escape reserved sites
129 full time trailers
Total
423

www.campingosoyoos.com Can be difficult to navigate. Click on the three horizontal lines upper right to open menu, then click on 'Book', then the line 'Click her to book on-line'. Rez site can also be difficult. Good luck GhostHunter! Says 108 sites available still for those dates. Most are at Main/North Beach which is furthest from everything. Nice, but ways away. We just rebooked for #14 in East Bench, a few still there. Or call 250-495-7279 to leave message and wait for callback.
