I'm feeling very jealous! We will have just picked up our 21NE (New Edition), but I'm still a working girl for a few more months. By end of summer I'll be retired, so maybe we can join next year.

Love your forum name! Next year we'll plan farther ahead, too, and have more sites available.

A true Escape Rally, it'll be such fun to see pics.
Heck, next year, I may have to plan a 2nd x-c road trip, simply to attend this cheery gathering!
Wanna go out in tandem, Jim?

I'm not sure Mimi, a true road trip caravanning would be fun, but one that far out west and not stop at Osoyoos would not be fruitful for us. Maybe if the dates were closer it could be fun, but you know me, I'm known for long drive days. If we come up for the FGRV Spring Fling in May in Chocorua we can converse about it.... Hope to see you sooner or later.

You were at the 2019 rally, Mimi! (Just that it was a little smaller, only two of us.)

We also can not make it this year, but will plan on it for 2021. I love Whidbey Island. Have a great time you lucky campers. I think you have to book 9 months in advance.

Next time we'll plan earlier but even if we get the whole park that location has only 24 sites (plus the camphost). We are at almost half the park with 11.

Well, sure hope the Spring Fling fits into your plans this year - it'll be my FIRST rally, and perhaps my first outing since getting home last Nov with my new trailer.
SO much to learn, and discover, and folks to meet, places to see, and, well ... FUN stuff! We will cross paths, one way or another, I am sure

Great! That makes 14 by my count- not bad for last minute planning.
Not sure about all the sites or trailers but here is who/what I have.
Bobbie, Escape 15A, #9
Jane and ED, 5.0 TA, #28
Paul and Norma, E21, #30
Karen, 15A, #21
Paula and Arnie, 5.0 TA #29
Dan and Donna, E21, #13
Nancie, E21
Angie and Ronda E21, #8
Renee and Roger 5.0, #4
Killercook, E21, #25
Kathryn
Peter, E19
Tommy
Mike , E21, #1
I'll put together a list of things to see/do in the area soon.
Who would be interested in a guided tour of the fort if I can arrange it? (Might not be possible as that would probably be prime time for school trips.)
For those coming by ferry from Port Townsend, get a reservation well in advance as weekends book up!

Wow - this will such a fun get-together!
I'd be suffering a very clear case of "fomo" (fear of missing out), if it weren't for knowing that, in some ways, we'll all "be there", as part of this very special Escape community.
So very cheery, thinking of all of you hanging out together out there at "the Fort". Big smiles, from New Hampshire

Thanks for the reminder on the ferry! Living in Bremerton, the PT Ferry is the most direct route for us.
A group fort tour would be fun. We are in!

Well, this one will be loosely organized. I figure we'll do a potluck one night and I'm seeing about a fort tour, other than those I'll probably post a list of things people might want to do during the day. We may want to set a time for visiting each other's trailers ( always optional) as it is fun to see how others set things up and the different trailers. For those not from the peninsula, the ferry to Port Townsend might be fun, and the touristy part of town there is easy to walk through from the ferry. And on Whidbey, historic Coupeville is an easy drive, with a museum and great restaurants. There are also wineries and distilleries, and some lovely hikes (check out the Ebey bluff trail.)
What do people want to do?
