GA gathering or rally
Greetings Escapees. I've only been on the site since December 2019. Bad year to purchase a fabulous travel trailer! I have searched the site for previous GA gatherings and didn't find anything. Perhaps after we are all vaccinated and life has settled down we should gather. I would love to see how you have made your Escape your own. I have very much appreciated the tips from the forum. We have been out a few times but have not seen another Escape since we brought ours home in March 2020. Rich and Suzanne, Gwinnett Co. GA

Don't know if you can see this info, the gathering isn't until June 3rd, 4th, and 5th 2021 at Riverbend Campground in the beautiful mountains of Hiawassee in Northeast Georgia. But you can plan ahead!

Don’t know if you are interested in traveling a bit but Scamp Camp is scheduled for Feb 8-12 at Highlands Hammock State Park in Sebring, FL. Several people from Georgia attend every year, and there are usually 4 or 5 Escapes in the mix, including a couple with a 21 (I believe) from Ellijay. I would guess it is about an 8 hour tow from Gwinnett County.
The only problem is that campsites may be hard to get because you will be competing with snowbirds. If interested, keep checking the park’s website every day as cancellations come up and “the early bird catches the worm.” We generally go down a week early and stay for two weeks. The weather is typically conducive to T-shirt wearing, although I’m not sure how much social distancing will affect planned activities.

OR just get lucky
Hello All,
Another Escape owner here in Georgia. We just got back from our first trip this year in our Escape, A LONG TIME in coming!!!! We went to the Chilhowee Recreation area in Benton TN and what's the 1st thing we see when we pull into the campground? Yes another 21' Escape and when we drive by I say 'nice trailer' he lets me know there's another one there as well, Three Escapes at a campground in the SE and it's not a rally, what's the odds in that happening?
I would also check out a rally in October at Davy Crockett Birthplace Park, there were 5-6 Escapes there when I went two years ago.
Enjoy the journey,
Steve

We have a 21 in Flowery Branch, and I think a Georgia Escape rally is a great idea. We discovered Escapes at the Cherokee, NC rally in the fall several years ago, and toured Escapes at the Green Eggs rally in 2018 as we finished our 21 build sheet.

Ripple, I think Suzanne and I saw your 21 in Flowery Branch last January/February. We were thinking about putting down a deposit for a new 21 when I found a used one with all the options that I wanted. You sold us on the Escape 21. Thanks
