Actually I'm not certain of attendance either. It depends on when my 17B is completed. Right now my completion date is scheduled for Sept. 19, but I've been told it'll almost certainly be moved up by an undetermined amount of time.

Jon's pies are legendary . Last year Jon took pictures of my daughter Teresa and her husband Todd at the rally with their boler. They used one for their self produced Christmas card in a retro black and white format. Jon is the man behind the lens for sure. But I think he's getting an oven in his new rig, pies will return again I predict.

Just a warning that Sharon & I, who are new to the forum, will be those folks over in the periphery in the 6 man tent. (Really one man, one woman and her stuff...she's the first to own up to it.) In any case, you'll be able to clearly see that we need a trailer! Maybe a couple of you will take pity on us and show us your rig?

Welcome Craig and Sharon,
You are welcome to join us and tour our Escapes, hopefully Sharon will see that a 6 man tent has way more room than our little home on wheels. Several other have used the rule, if not used in 6 months it goes. Weight, when your are towing impacts both your gas economy and your towing experience.

No reason not to be proud of sleeping in a tent. I've had some of the best experiences in my 69 years in a tent. Not since the night before we picked up the Escape in Arizona though. Your welcome to look our rig over any time. If you want to concentrate on what you're looking at, I'll go see Red Dog and my bride of 47 years will give you the tour. Otherwise my fascinating lies will captivate you. Looking forward to meeting you at the Falls.

I just found out about this gathering and thus making plans to attend. This should be fun, if not at least a good opportunity to see some Escapes.

So no need to feel lonely Craig Walsh, your wife and her stuff.

We'll be the mom, the teenage boy and (probably) the dog on the other periphery (also in a tent).

(Oh and yes, the dog is quite the "tree hugger" - but they didn't have an icon for that.)
